A well known health shop, providing a huge range of organic products from meat, eggs, fruit, veges to nuts and oils. My favourite products are Samoan organic coconut oil and the New Zealand produced health tablets BePure One.

Bear shop ever for organic fruits, and for healthy foods. It's really good for people who have intolerances/allergies because they have lots of rice and wheat replacements. I have 50 Intolerances but there is actually chocolate there that I can eat which is amazing!!

Excellent place for genuine organic, low mileage produce. The milk is so fresh you can almost hear the cows, or goats. Very good advice is here if you pursue a more vegan lifestyle. This place is worth a visit.

The staff at commonsense are so wonderful and they make the experience of shopping so enjoyable. The stock is replete with everything I love, in particular the cold press juices, lunch takeaways, chocolate, supplements and skin care. Much easier shopping here than at the supermarket. Heaps of parking.

Common Sense Organics is such a delight. If you are sensitive to preservatives or have food intolerance it is a godsend. A great range of good quality products. It's not cheap though, and take your own bags.

If you want a good range of organic food, including gluten free and vegan in Lower Hutt, this is the place to go to. While organic goods are expensive, if you buy in season and get the specials, it can be cheap. Organic food doesn't cost the earth, it saves it! There are also toiletries and makeup. Tip: if you go between 5 and 6pm, you might get half price favourites, such as pies and pizza slices. There is an even greater tangerines at Wakefield St, in Wellington.

Interesting insight into how the wealthy environmentally conscious elite do their shopping. There's were lots of things we wanted to buy here but very little we could afford. We did make one small purchase however: some biodegradable rubbish bags. The sheer expense of these bags have made us use them wisely and cut down on or amount of household rubbish as a result. This must be what's it's like to be the wealthy environmentally conscious elite.

A great little organic store with Okinawan longevity! Find all kinds of organic foods eg. goat meat, venison, nuts, oils, fruit, vegs, supplements, bone broth, fresh baking, etc. Bring your own containers if you wish. Their $10 tri-bag deals (3 fruit/veg bags of your choice) are available if you're on a smaller budget or shopping for one and there are usually weekly specials on offer as well. CLH is in a handy location, next door to New World, opposite Queensgate Mall on Waterloo Rd. You can also buy organic seedlings and herbs from CLH for your own veg patch.
