Not 100% sure what we're all supposed to be counting down to. The only time I count is when my kid won't stay in bed and I'm threatening to put his xBox in the bin, like it's past 9 o'clock mate obviously you don't wanna play the new season of Fortnite this weekend, but then he tells me to shut up so I end up grabbing the wooden spoon instead. They also made the store green because they knew it was my favourite colour. Pretty nice of them to think about me like that I reckon. 10/10.

Convenient cab be accessed from both Queensgate mall and they also have there own carport. Clean tidy Nice service .

Great, particularly liked the worker Manning the door, she was lovely. Didn't have burgen fruit bread but had everything else. Definitely could've been worse..

I miss the point of having two Countdown so close.... not like Countdown is famous for good quality food, but which supermarket is in New Zealand? 99% of "fancy" supermarket, such New World or Fresh Choice, sell the same stuff of Pak'n Save, other, like Mediterranean, Farro... sell more normal stuff, but unjustifiedly expansive.

Had to stock up recently under L3, a day prior to surgery. I find Countdown products easy to find and the staff are super helpful.

Many great specials, fresh fruit and veges. Bakery, deli and meats section always well stocked and great selections. Staff are always well mannered well presented and pleasant to deal with. The floor staff are helpful for finding items. The store is clean and very handy to Queensgate with plenty of handy parking all around.

The under cover parking is a welcome relief in wet and windy days. The shop itself is the better of the three in Lower Hutt region. Like the way they always have covid prevention items handy free of use when entering and leaving. For this reason alone it deserves a 5 star.

The shop itself is good, layout is good and has a good selection of products. Most of the staff are helpful and it is a pleasant experience. However some staff do not wear correct uniform and always appear to be on their phone...I used to think I didn't even think they didn't even work their this has not been a one time experience.

Great little store much preferred over the bigger one in Lower Hutt, staff are lovely, reasonable stock levels and the deli and bakery items are delish and fresh everytime we go there.

A very well presented store, laid out strategically for an easy shopping experience. Staff are always polite and helpful. Id have to say this is one of the best supermarkets within the Hutt region including Wellington

Clean and tidy store, nice friendly staff and a reasonable range. Sometimes wish the range was a little larger. I do appreciate some of the lines countdown stock compared to others. However on my Sunday visit a lot of stock was unavailable. Not the first time.

Car parking is tight however the mobility parking is well place. The store is a good size and well illuminated. The stock layout is not good and does not flow logically and this slows shopping making items hard to find.

Visited at 8pm as it is usually a good quiet time and it was but it was so quiet absolutely no staff on any checkouts. Only a staffer in self checkouts to supervise you doing what should be their job Self service was meant to reflect in cheaper prices due to the huge staff reductions. Guess what?

Can't always find what I need. Seems to have tonnes of one thing you're after but then none of another. (E.g. on my last shop I found 4 varieties of mandarin but no grapes anywhere.) Store is always clean and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Nice countdown at Queensgate Mall, I usually come here on a Wednesday after work. They always have a huge range of fruits and vegetables. They have a great bakery section and I always like to buy their 10 pack of ciabatta roles for $5, they are very yummy and last several days. Also noted that they have a good selection of Gluten Free foods and the like. Good supermarket overall and wheelchair friendly :)

Busy on Tuesdays owing to Super Gold Card discount. Wide aisles and good selection of products mean little delays apart from checkouts where it's a 5 minute process as Countdown wants customers to use the self checkout process.

The heating in the building is always so over the top. There doesn't seem to be any consideration of how warm the place is regardless of how cold it is outside. It does not need to be turned up to 30degrees just because it's slightly chilly outside. All it makes me want to do is leave. Especially when the place is crawling with people that is enough to create heat!
