Lovely estuary setting within tavern grounds. Lots of trendy attractive stalls, few bargains, & quite crowded if one is still wary of covid.

All the weekly need for your kitchen, music ,coffee and much more.

Lovely Saturday Market. Live music and great atmosphere. There is a seating area by the water and the live music. Perfect spot for breakfast/ brunch/ lunch.
Also Aucklenders have great taste, that’s why you see them there.

Mangawhai is a very sociable town and the various markets have a great range of goodies.
People from far and wide come to enjoy and chat with each other while their dogs meet and play with each other. The markets are open between 0900 and 1300 S. After that you can head down to the Mangawhai Heads Shopping Center, a foodies delight with an incredible range of food from around the world.

The mangawhai tavern market is a must visit for us whenever we are in Mangawhai. There is a really good mix of stalls including local produce, yummy snacks and gifts. If you want some of the fresh sour dough bread get there early as it always sells our. The dumplings from Akami are my favorite snack

A lovely market, next to the tavern down the end of the road by the water.Entrance is through the gates of the Tavern car park. Plenty of things to purchase and eat. Fruit and veges cheese, olive oil, artisan breads, coffee, plants, books, clothes, bric-a-brac . An accent on Organic and local . designers , clothes ,

This market is fantastic. The quality of the goods made by people who love their hobbies are wonderfully made and not badly priced. The variety is great. You can also go for lunch at the tavern after you shop and the food is good!

Absolutely loved this market. My first visit today and luckily, I walked down (so I had to carry what I brought back home) or I’d probably be bankrupt!! Great vibe, sensational food and some stunning wares. This will definitely be my ‘treat’ destination on a Saturday. Now if anyone doesn’t think that ‘gathering of goodness‘ makes Mangawhai even more magical, I can’t imagine what would!! Thanks to all the artisan producers, artists and growers who made that a truly wonderful experience!! 💞

Great market. Nice set up and awesome to support local businesses
A.
A good market to visit, usually with a large variety of commercial type stalls these days, food can be a little pricey as with most places in Mangawhai, shop around though there is a lot to see ..you may find some nice free range eggs or a 25000 year old fossel ..finding a parking space could be anxiety inducing for some ..if it's busy at that end of Moir street, paitence is definately a virtue & there are other local parking options with a short stroll to the market.

Lovely when the visitors are not there. Find a lot of stalls wanting cash a nuisance, who carries a lot of cash these days?
M.
Went to this market this morning couple of old chaps playing some catchy tune, scored me some crystals and framed photography of Mangawhai heads in the sunset and a rainbow aura quartz and pyrite
