Lockdown visit 8pm ...all thebread has gone ..but everything else is there 😁. Not many people, no que at the checkout, lots of space. Everyone is masked up. Friendly staff glad it is quieter now and a less hectic pace.

This Supermarket is not as good, when it comes to prices as what it use to be. They had a discount on a Wednesday for pensioners with the gold card, now they have taken that away. There prices are just as expensive as the other supermarkets, the only products that are cheaper are the cheap brands. The other 2 Supermarkets at least still have a discount day for people. Excellent parking. Sell most products when in stock, half the time these days the shelves are empty.l wouldn't say the fresh produce is up to standard. Well presented Supermarket also with good aisles really wide. The check out staff are very polite and helpful, l think this Supermarket has gone back, this is my opinion. Came here to do a shop usually go to new world, which now I won't be as I spent alot less here and got pretty much everything I need. Great variety and nice big store. Recommend this place if you don't like spending alot on weekly shopping.

I use this supernarket to buy fish, meat, fruit and veges. The self checkout machines are a pain to use. It is not unusual to call for help 5 or 6 times. Staff are not particularly friendly, especially checkout supervisors.

As for large supermarkets, its well managed in supply and demand, but staff could do with some training as to knowing english when you ask them a question, particularly people from distant lands, they do not know what you are asking for, very frustrating, the prices across the board are reasonable along with good specials, enabling families to make their dollars go further and maybe have a treat as well as regular groceries

I always have a great shop here but for some reason this morning, the doors were still closed at 7.48am and according to online, Masterton PaknSave is open from 7am-10pm, But your sign on the door says 8am-10pm? I was a bit confused as I was on a quick break from work and only had a few mins to get what I needed. Please update your hours online if you've changed opening times, it can be a little confusing.

This pak n sav is not my happy place!...it is grubby and needs a good clean... The veges depend on whether you get a good day, broccoli has been limp and my advice from a worker there was to place in cold water and they would firm up... This just put me off more, fresh vegetables?... I'm sorry but compared to other pak n sav stores I have been to, this one doesn't really match up with quality, specials and variety... There is no self scanning option either... But it is still cheaper than other supermarkets in town for the family shop...

We try to always shop Pak n Save when we're in town. Masterton Pak n Save has a great little lunch counter and the best hot chips around. Staff are always friendly and very helpful.

I think "meh" sums up this place. Price of food is lower then other NZ "competition" but as there are only 2 supermarket chains the price of food is still ridiculous compared to the resr of the world. Previous owners' fantastic overseas section with nice beers etc is pretty much gone. Also a lot of other product lines no longer available. Methinks new owners are just all about joining the other supermarket owning rich listers so have to buy a lot of non essential foods at other stores these days.

This is a well-run, well organized Pak'nSave, with a great selection, good pricing, and helpful staff. I can usually find what I'm looking for at a price I'm willing to pay. My only complaint would be they run out of stock on some items way too frequently and are quite slow at restocking them -- sometimes up to a week.

So you can choose to go to 10cc or get a wai pie but darn as a pie muncher these have to be the best pies in Masterton carterton and greytown. Well done guys enter those pies in NZ best pies. Iv had a few better pies in my life fairly bakery and vaso ( creamy mushroom and chicken) but they also cost twice as much. Best $4 pies in greater wellington area. Consistently good and not just a bucket of salt like most of the pies arround. 👍

Pak and Save is definitely cheaper than New World and Countdown but they don't always have a good selection of certain items. From time to time I have to go to Countdown to get something I need that Pak and Save didn't have. I also never buy meat from here. It just doesn't look like good quality product to me. Overall a good supermarket for getting the basics at a lower price.

Really miss this place, the bakery was so good! Our new pak n save in te awamatu doesnt have an in store bakery so really do miss the yum sammys and sausage rolls!! The check out staff were always friendly and helpful. And u sure cant beat the prices!!

Carparking can get very difficult as there is little to go around. Specially breads have to be packaged in plastic bags as there's no paper ones - I thought that was illegal? Service was alright.

Like that it opens an hour later than all the other supermarkets. Always had a good range of reasonably priced food but it also stocks some homewares and seasonally relevant items like rugs, slippers and hot water bottles in winter; chilly bins, fans and picnicwares in summer. Good specials as always. The only thing it lacks is the depth of range of non budget items. It's always easy to park in the huge car park too, unlike the other supermarkets in town.

Pak N Save Masterton is ok they don't always stock everything here which is such a pain as you have to look elsewhere. There fresh fish is always good , all the lunch meats and salads are good , most of there baking is good. There meat here is not good at all I have brought off meat from here a few times. I refuse to buy there meat now I will shop for shelf food but that is it. Also a couple of the staff members here can be very rude to people an discriminating I was very disgusted with them as an on looker an this has happened more than twice 😞 ❌❌❌

Would like to give more stars. But I only have good feed back for staff working at Pak'nslave. I've ever had any staff members treat me badly. Everyone is helpful and respectful. a BIG thank you from me. As for Pak'nslave as a business, i'm not happy food costs, they just keep going up and up. Profiteering off the people. I want a company who wants to feed New Zealanders with the lowest prices. Not JUST SAYING IT. ( But really profiteering from perceived value. $6 Butter is not good enough )
