I was surprised there is a big supermarket in a small township. Really grateful we can shop for essential foods.

They've got lots of great stuff, but just not the Bisto Gravy Granules in the Red Circular Tube, which is specifically what I use/need. Can't seem to get that anywhere. The powders are definitely not the same!!

Good supermarket, clean and well stocked for the most part. The stock levels drop in summer due to increased traffic. Overall a good wee store.

Pleasant place . Welcome first shop after 3 weeks of lockdown . Only 5 in queue. Used Google maps to find the best time. Only 4 minute wait. Lots of varity and specials. Felt safe.Easy parking. Keep bags in car and transfer after shopping into bags .Best time to go if you do not want to que is before 9:45 am.

What a great supermarket wide isles,well stocked shelves, very helpful staff and good parking easy to hey in and out of.

I mean, it's a supermarket so there's only so much you can say. But there's plenty of parking, layout is pretty easy to get the hang of (even though I always manage to go with an unordered list and have to whip back around to another aisle to pick up that one last thing). Usually can go straight to a checkout without waiting, clean premises, friendly service, good specials, what's not to love? If you have an EV there is a charger there so you can charge up while you shop!

Good place to come to to get your supplies before doing the Abel Tasman trek. We ended up stocking up on a ton of stuff here including pick and mix and various other stuff to keep us going. Relatively big store so you'll ending up finding just about everything you need.

We did plenty of Christmas grocery shopping in Motueka and we're not disappointed. Great range of yummy stuff and also a nice range of organic and natural produce. New World is always the most pricey of the supermarkets but given we wanted a few specific things we were pretty happy overall.

We like shopping at Motueka New World because it is a clean, well set out and well stocked supermarket with everything we need. Fruit and veges are fresh and prices are good. They have lovely breads produced in store.

Locally owned supermarket. There are two main stores in Motueka, but I prefer this one as the food quality is slightly higher, it's locally owned, and it seems to employ every teen-ager in town.

Deli section at the back easily surpasses variety and quality of that found in Mot's Countdown store. Have bought many lunches here and there's always something different to try.

Ok, isles could be wider - gets conjested when busy. Staff are the usual mixed bag of friendly and gumpy. Prices not as cheap as down the road but the shopping experience is better.

Too expensive and with exclusive pricing structures only available to card holders. Prefer a more reasonable price structure to be in place as most store owners are filthy rich off the backs of the working poor.

At the end of the day it is simply a New World supermarket. Although the things that make us come back is the recycling of soft plastics and the luncheon they give to the kids at the deli.

Visitor to Motueka this summer, and so in turn, frequent visitor to Mot NW. Wanted to share how impressed I am with the fantastic customer service from the checkout operators - genuinely friendly, efficient and obviously make a great team - the trainees are particularly impressive. You should be really proud of yourselves!

New World in Motueka is a very big groceries store where you can get anything you like. It seems that a Dutch employee takes good care for the Dutch tourists. A special part is focussed on Dutch brands for typical chocolate sprinkles (vlokken) and stroopwafels and pannenkoekenbeslag.
