I was surprised there is a big supermarket in a small township. Really grateful we can shop for essential foods.

They've got lots of great stuff, but just not the Bisto Gravy Granules in the Red Circular Tube, which is specifically what I use/need. Can't seem to get that anywhere. The powders are definitely not the same!!

Good supermarket, clean and well stocked for the most part. The stock levels drop in summer due to increased traffic. Overall a good wee store.

Pleasant place . Welcome first shop after 3 weeks of lockdown . Only 5 in queue. Used Google maps to find the best time. Only 4 minute wait. Lots of varity and specials. Felt safe.Easy parking. Keep bags in car and transfer after shopping into bags .Best time to go if you do not want to que is before 9:45 am.

Organized chaos for one of the only supermarkets in Motueka. Can be difficult getting out of the car park in peak traffic times and summer

They have a better variety of ready to eat meals than any other new world I've been to and the pies ROCK 🤤

I mean, it's a supermarket so there's only so much you can say. But there's plenty of parking, layout is pretty easy to get the hang of (even though I always manage to go with an unordered list and have to whip back around to another aisle to pick up that one last thing). Usually can go straight to a checkout without waiting, clean premises, friendly service, good specials, what's not to love? If you have an EV there is a charger there so you can charge up while you shop!

Good supermarket. We went to get some lunch from the Deli. They had some delicious options for us.

Good place to come to to get your supplies before doing the Abel Tasman trek. We ended up stocking up on a ton of stuff here including pick and mix and various other stuff to keep us going. Relatively big store so you'll ending up finding just about everything you need.

Awesome staff of all ages, male and female. Helped my elderly relative with a very embarrassing incident with no fuss. My favorite shop!

We did plenty of Christmas grocery shopping in Motueka and we're not disappointed. Great range of yummy stuff and also a nice range of organic and natural produce. New World is always the most pricey of the supermarkets but given we wanted a few specific things we were pretty happy overall.

First young assistant very polite, second older one, mmmm let's say In pleased I'm not married to her.

I don't go there often but when i do it seems to be anyways busy. They have more staff in the shop at one time than any supermarket I've been to before but i guess they need them. Friendly staff

Love shopping here but I do question the specials as some products are on special all the time so I do wonder if the special price is just the regular price?

Had everything I needed. Product presentation I noticed was great. Food freshness standard for me, completely met.

Very busy store but great staff helped to alevate that. Disappointed though we bought Puhoi milk and it was bad. Use by date the 26 July we purchased on the 20th.

Hey it's a supermarket right? However, I found it a very pleasant place to shop enroute to North West Nelson. Ample parking, excellent produce, helpful staff. All good.

Good staff expensive shopping

We like shopping at Motueka New World because it is a clean, well set out and well stocked supermarket with everything we need. Fruit and veges are fresh and prices are good. They have lovely breads produced in store.

Compared to Countdown the selection of goods is wider and you can buy family packages for better price. !Better for big groups or families.! 🅿️ ♿️

Locally owned supermarket. There are two main stores in Motueka, but I prefer this one as the food quality is slightly higher, it's locally owned, and it seems to employ every teen-ager in town.

Great assortment of stock large and we'll layed out with wide Isles better than supermarkets in Nelson they could learn how to stock and arrange products from Motueka new world.

Deli section at the back easily surpasses variety and quality of that found in Mot's Countdown store. Have bought many lunches here and there's always something different to try.

Ok, isles could be wider - gets conjested when busy. Staff are the usual mixed bag of friendly and gumpy. Prices not as cheap as down the road but the shopping experience is better.

Great customer service, as a visitor I didn't know the store layout, but the staff were super friendly, approachable and helpful, even though it was late at night and near the end of their shift.

Too expensive and with exclusive pricing structures only available to card holders. Prefer a more reasonable price structure to be in place as most store owners are filthy rich off the backs of the working poor.

At the end of the day it is simply a New World supermarket. Although the things that make us come back is the recycling of soft plastics and the luncheon they give to the kids at the deli.

Easily the best supermarket in Motueka. It has enormous community involvement and the produce is second to none. The service is excellent AND it is locally owned.

Visitor to Motueka this summer, and so in turn, frequent visitor to Mot NW. Wanted to share how impressed I am with the fantastic customer service from the checkout operators - genuinely friendly, efficient and obviously make a great team - the trainees are particularly impressive. You should be really proud of yourselves!

New World in Motueka is a very big groceries store where you can get anything you like. It seems that a Dutch employee takes good care for the Dutch tourists. A special part is focussed on Dutch brands for typical chocolate sprinkles (vlokken) and stroopwafels and pannenkoekenbeslag.

Well arranged. Clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Good amount of parking, I've never not got one.

Easy parking and access..but in January its peak summer.. the town and New World is a Zoo.. so allow a lot more time and patience

Manage to find the kiwi habanero sauce here. As it was recommended, it has a good range of items.

Needs organic meat have to go to fresh choice to buy organic beef and Lamb but otherwise good.
