My husband and I always shop with a list, however, there was one item that we couldn't find so I asked a staff member. It wasn't enough that he didn't know WHERE it was but that he didn't know WHAT it was. Countdown, it would serve you well if you trained your employees about your products!

Its a supermarket what can I say? Although I did experience outstanding service at the Deli...they only had bacon hocks and I wanted a ham hock.. so the lady went and got the ham leg out of the display and cut it down for a ham hock.

Great service here! I got some strawberries that were mouldy and didn't have my receipt but it wasn't a problem they replaced the punnet and gave me a refund all with a smile. The only downside of coming here is the long waits in queues especially when they only have a couple checkouts open for everyone

First asked if I wanted a bag. Well that set me off. No greeting! all about bags. Gee Count Down have a look around your store. I could go on and on but I won't, but will mention I worry about the state of bags coming in ! going into trolleys, but on the lighter side you have something special that I come into your store to get, by the way I do not require bags I have bins in my boot that can be wiped out and kept clean.

We like this supermarket. We regularly drive past two other Countdown supermarkets to shop here for preference. I have only given it 4 stars because there is no such thing as a perfect supermarket! 😁

Friendly service, but your 3 for $20 salmon needs to be separated, I couldn't take advantage due to the 3 I had placed in my cart happened not to be all the same, and couldn't be bothered racing back to change making others wait.

I prefer shopping at this Countdown than the Munroe Street one. The staff are very helpful and the check out staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have a large selection of groceries. They have free fruit for children which is a bonus. I live 700m away so am in easy walking distance..

I have to say it's a bit confusing having two Countdowns literally across the street from each other but this one was a good typical supermarket. The difference was in the service, the checkout lady was so nice. Probably just a Napier thing though.

It's a good tidy Countdown. There is always parking available. They are changing the floor plan so it can be hard to find things, but it's almost finished.
