D.I recently purchased some Silver Fern meat from Gourmet Meats but unfortunately, due to a monumental "stuff up" by NZ Couriers, by the time the meat was ready to be delivered to my address, it was already 6 days old. Gourmet Meats instructed NZ Couriers to return the pack and have arranged for a new pack to be delivered to me. Their Head Office and Napier Staff were superb and given that Silver Fern is a superior meat product, I would heartily recommend them to any on line buyer. WELL DONE TEAM!
D.Ordered the Lauke crusty white, over ordered….. or so I thought! Smashed 4 loaves in a week! Another 4 to do! Made some awesome bread!

S.We ordered a rack of Venison from Gourmet direct, to be delivered a week later, to arrive on Thursday in time for the weekend. Amazing customer service. When they processed the order, it showed up that we are rural delivery, which delays things by a day. So I was phoned, advised of the situation, and how best to manage the day later than ordered delivery. Kate was straight on the job to make sure I'd be able to get hold of our order, then followed up that evening to make sure we'd had the delivery ok. Awesome effort. Fanastic piece of venison. Definitely recommend.
D.Great quality meat, and excellent customer service. I have always found my orders are accurate, and the product is well packed. It is a bit expensive, so I tend to use GDL only for special occasions - but wouldn't buy my Christmas turkey or ham anywhere else!

E.I have used Gourmet Direct for many years and found your meat to be unparalleled. Now that you have a store in Auckland, family members also use it more. Our son loves to pop in for a chat with the butcher!
M.Unfortunately they told us the day before delivery that they couldn’t deliver to us for fathers’ day weekend. They were unresponsive all weekend which was disappointing. However, when they finally responded after the weekend, they moved to rectify and sent the delivery to a new address.
