Nicely laid out supermarket. Decent specials as per usual and all the options you'd expect from a decent-sized city's supermarket. Nothing extraordinary in any particular department. But all around clean, fresh and gets you what you need. Although, they did go above and beyond as far as their trolleys are concerned. Your toddler wants to be hooning along in a little enclosed car? Awesome, they've got several. Your young child wants to take the lead and drive ahead of you like a little speed racer? Sweet. She can do! Just look at her go.

Best kept secret in Nelson. The cabinet food at NW is supreme. From fresh spicy pulled pork fillo to Thai chicken slider and dark chocolate bounty bar. The coffee is better than many actual coffee places. Apparently best espresso pretzel too. And cheap as... Do not miss while in town.

Awesome place where you easily can get all range of products at very competitive prices. It is the only supermarket in town with an international section where you get all products from different countries. The staffs are very helpful offering great customer service a place where customers are treated as king from grocery staffs to checkout staffs they are doing a great job. The store is clean well displayed products Greg the Owner is a wonderful person down to earth and empathetic always on the floor helping the staffs and ensure customers are given exceptional service

This new world has products I've never seen in other places, so I was impressed by that. Plus they had products I can't find anymore in other shops, extra impressed with that. Nicely laid out with everything easy to find. Very impressed by the sugar free things up at the checkout counters instead of the usual high sugar lollies and chocolates. Also impressed with the amount of shoppers carrying their own shopping bags!!

I think this supermarket is special because everyone in there is bright, jolly and helpful. It's culturally diverse in terms of the people who work and shop there which reflects in the goods they sell. There's a particular English lady, small and lovely. New World is the best service, they have always packed my bags through the Pandemic " Countdown make the customer pack their own bags. Being in my mid 70s I find packing my shopping bags very frustrating and slow if I do a big shop.

I went over to new world Nelson the other day for a snag, and I was say out side on the chair and this old bloke came over with his gutiar and started singing jingle bells, and me and my mate didn't want to leave because it would look rude so we waited 45 mins for his mouth to shut. 🤑🤑

A smaller supermarket than its competitor just dơwn the road but is well lit with at least 25% of the wall being glass.This gives a spacious natural feel that is enhanced by the friendly and very helpful staff who seem to enjoy their work and helping customers.The in store deli and bakery are well patronised by the discerning customers..This place has an atmosphere which makes shopping an enjoyable experience.

First and foremost, as a Nelson supermarket they are pretty good. More friendly and accommodating in comparison to some of the other stores nearby. The coffee café is a nice addition. Must also mention the deli section at the back. I have eaten more lunches from there than almost anywhere else in Nelson. Good food for a good price.

This is a cool supermarket well as cool as a supermarket can be, if you are going to do your shopping at a new world supermarket make sure you get yourself a club card so you can take advantage of the specials they offer. This supermarket is well laid out and finding what you want isn't hard. The staff seem friendly enough and were helpful when I asked for assistance. Its also an option for alcohol once the bottle store is closed and the price is right always at least one beer on special.

This New world is providing a safe place for the SC camper community to sleep. Thank you very much. It has a lovely little cafe inside perfect for a morning coffee & free WiFi. All the staff we have crossed paths with are super friendly. They ask that we park at the far end of the car park nearest to the red cross shop.

I've always thought that New World is expensive for shopping but I was wrong, it's really quite good for pricing and further more if you register for a club card you get even more savings on different items in store and from what I've seen so far it's a $1:00 off per item on selected club card items. That's huge at the end of a full shopping trolley.
