d.I did my first online shop from the central New Plymouth store. I called on Tuesday to see if they delivered rural, I was told A delivery driver would call me as they were uncertain if delivery to my address was possible. A lady called me back ten mins later super friendly and nice and gave me the days and times. I got a message the next day to say delivery would be between 17.45 and 18.45 at 18.35 I received a message my delivery was close. a few mins later the driver turned up super friendly and great customer service every item was on the list and it cost $20 less than what it said on my basket total. Perfect shopping experience.
D.Good layout, well displayed produce. Could display pricing more clearly. Hard to see cost of items in the vegetable area of the store.
W.Was my preferred supermarket but seems to have less choice and limited stock in last year compared to other local supermarkets.

N.I love that thy are open frm 6:30 am onwards. Bloody handy for my boy to zip in a grab wrk lunch,sometimes.

L.Well I bought something the day before,when I saw my receipt it was 4 dollars more than the real price,so I went back and they sorted it straight away thank you countdown.

Self checkouts if like me you hate talking to people.
L.Disgruntled I'm afraid - As per before, shelves low, veggies over priced, why is it that countdown can not keep an eye out on stock to re-order before it runs out!!! especially in these times.
b.Excellent parking outside and underground. Great range of produce friendly and efficient staff. Best range of wine and beers at competitive prices in my opinion. Mcdonald's adjacent to the store. Access from both one way streets.

k.I like the place, the prices are good and the shop is well presented. It's like the perfect middle ground between PaknSave and New World.
My only gripe is the boxes left along the isles during shelf packing. I've tripped over them more times than I can count
L.Nice friendly and professional staff. Only shop here if I only want 1 or 2 items. A lot smaller than other countdowns so variety bot as good. Also WAY TOI MANY SELF CHRCKOUTS so not as many staff but products are no cheaper.
A.Open till late 11pm! Found all our supplies here.

D.Its a supermarket. Good range of stuff, not heaps of fancy imported stuff. If you're after finely ground almond flour go to Vetro. Staff are friendly and super helpful, good range of options for products with a range of prices.

R.I love to visit Countdown in New Plymouth NZ. It's a clean spacious and neat shop with lots of specials with all the fruit, veggies fresh and baked products freshly baked and tasty. I really miss my Countdown Shopping now that I'm back in South Africa after visiting my Son and Grandchildren.
D.Underground parking is awesome on wet grocery shopping days.
Would give 5 stars if ALL staff members packed groceries the correct way, e.g chilled together, produce together, frozen together etc. Even when I had made it easier by grouping the items together at checkout the guy still mixed them up lol, so I ended up repacking them when I got to the car

P.Really quiet for a Saturday Avo. Lots of staff standing around. Only about 25-30 customers in the whole place. Could have something to do with Pack and Save right next door. Still a well appointed store.
A.Well laid out store. The highlight was a responsive check out lady opening a lane even though there was only one man in front of me. I like not having to wait too long especially if it seems unnecessary.
T.Count yourself lucky if you shop here. Good selection and never have to wait long to be served.
M.Easy access off both 1 ways and lots of parking with underground parking as well helpful staff with a good selection. They have a great range of beer and wine . Also a great bakery that's well stocked

J.I always have trouble finding anything in this supermarket. There seems no logic to the product placement. The aisle signs are not adequate either, very sparse, they need more signs. I end up going rounds in circles, looking for stuff they keep moving, like some mad game of hide and seek. Not impressed!

A.Good countdown sometimes the selection can be a little less as the shop is a tad smaller but the under ground parking is awesome, as not too many people park down there so it is a good go too place if the weather is bad.

b.It is smaller than the other two but the service is great and if you need to find something just ask. If it's not there they will let you know, Great store that has just about everything.
N.A typical Countdown set up. Very tidy and the shelves well stocked.

v.Like any other supermarket but very good layout and supply of groceries and fruit and vege and meat, fish, bakery etc etc and helpful staff.
