Great gift baskets and coffee. More interesting items than most New world supermarkets. Good local specials and offers. Usual New World airpoints and fresh produce. He has the items you need and friendly staff . In a shopping centre with doctors, hotel chemist etc Parking outside with 3 entrances. Recycle cups and bags readily available. Shop locally.

Awesome customer service. My old tech mate works there part time and is a super amazing artist. Quiet guy but makes an amazing temple head. One of his works is covered in gold leaf and veiled with layers reminiscent of model painting. Good guy.

Shopping here is very convenient. It's a handy supermarket to visit if you live in the nearby neighbourhood.

The staff especially the checkout girls (especially a youngish blondy hair unfortunetely didn't get her name on Express checkout). so friendly and cheerful - just that one 5min interaction brightened up the rest of my day.

Staff are always friendly, shelves are always well stocked. Just not the same variety as the larger store. But great for a top up shop.

Like shopping here when in NP. Quieter and friendly but wish you would restock the Omega Plus Dog Biscuits I used to buy..now have to buy on line as sadly NWs don't seem to stock this NEW ZEALAND made product..prefer to stock shelves with imported kibble grrr.

Easy to find things. Not too big or small. Everything required with friendly helpful staff. Great selection of Fresh Fare - fruit, veges, meat, bakery + all usual grocery products.

Good bakery but smaller store than the others so not as much choice. Clean and tidy.

Really busy but not to long a wait

Small well stocked supermarket. Conveniently close to other shops and petrol station. Nice selection of treat food and essentials well displayed. I dropped in for bananas, milk, pickle and soya sauce.

Immaculate and clean store, shelves look impeccable, this New World is tucked away over in Merrilands, has awesome staff working there, very polite, and well stoked.

Great staff. Helpful, informative, store not too big but stock everything you need. Get to know you by name. Highly recommended place to go.

Love the easy finding of what is needed. Didn't have exactly what I wanted but the alternative was just as good in the baking. Quick in and out. Polite and friendly

I drive to Merrilands New World exclusively for their avocados. They are always a good price and consistently a great size and for that I rate this supermarket with 5 stars. PS: the staff are awesome and I love their dinky bread cupboard.

Clean tidy and has a reasonable range for a small supermarket. Coffee is pretty reliable for supermarket coffee, about on parr with wildbean, better than mcdonalds

the manager was helpful letting me buy stuff easier and quickly to get out of the way of people

Has the same problem as the other supermarkets in New Plymouth they don't carry enough stock of some of the goods on promotion and all you get if you mention the fact is sorry.
