I often stop here on the way to our holiday home I find this Foursquare extremely well stocked and very well priced including a good range of Wines and Beers

Ngatea Four Square while it's more expensive than other bigger companies has a very happy and friendly atmosphere. The staff, if they don't know where something is they always ask their peers. A lot of team work is noticed. 10/10 from me.

One of my favourite parts about this cute little spot is just how nice the staff is here. Im a fundraiser so I've been here a frw times but everytime I show up I feel so so so welcome by all the staff. All the girls at the front desk are a good lauph. It's obviously farm country so it's custom for customers of the rugged kind to remove their boots, shoes, socks even upon entry to keep this treasure of new Zealand history nice and clean. The bathroom (if you ask nicely) is through the front door all the way at the back on the far right side and into the storage area and through a wooden hallway to the bathroom on the left side. There's also a football field behind it if you'd like to go for a walk while your missus is trying decide which sweet croc she wants hahaha. Also the pies really aren't bad either. They always keep the heater just the right heat to keep it both crispy as well as preheat them. They sell cigarettes and minor Vapo vape accessories and if you really need to relax there is a bar right accross the road to the left as you exit the 4 square. Also, if you're arriving around 3 on a school day, beware of the onslaught of kids bags left outside the front of the store - obviously to prevent shoplifting.
