Well presented, clean and plenty of reasonably priced groceries. Do not be put off by thinking new world is expensive, it is not and the range of different products is amazing! The staff are mostly lovely though I did strike a slightly curt manager today. Perhaps she was a little tired. But mainly great staff presence. Highly recommend. A+

New world oamaru south is a lovely big supermarket. Everything laid out great. Good selection of everything and a fantastic wine section. Staff very nice. Only problem there is no vegetarian section at all. Not even a packet of Tofu. Quite strange. I've never come across that before.

The staff are exceptionally friendly the products are good quality. Paper bags are excellent. My only problem is - no Anchor butter available so I go out to the northside New world to get it and do a big shop there.

I used to complain about this shop shocking me when i touched any metal surfaces like shelves and trolleys.... But its been months sinced it happened. High five NW.!! Great shop but can be quite busy at times. Adequate parking and they make great mochachinos!

First visit to this large and busy store Thankfully had a list and managed to find ALL products. Slim aisles meant crowding and difficulty in accessing some goods but this may have been the time of day

Bigger of the two New world supermarkets in Oamaru. So has a wider range. (other smaller one is at the north end opposite the Caltex/Pita Pit complex). Beer selection is pretty good for the size and you can buy a good selection of Craftwork Breweries local craft bottled beers here cheaper than anywhere else. Along with the usual brands from elsewhere.

South Hill New World in Oamaru is a great supermarket. I know many people that are happy regular customers to this supermarket. There is always a fresh selection of fruit and vegetables, bread and bakery foods (they make nice ciabatta rolls), dairy and packaged goods, including a few GF foods and breads and an International Foods section which is found near the bakery area. The supermarket has self service checkouts and checkouts with assistants, there is a large car park which also has car parks for parents and people with the disability card. Also the supermarket is wheel chair friendly and has a customer toilet. The supermarket has seating outside the shop and a section at the start which sells hot drinks for customers. Near by the supermarket is a petrol station and a sports park. Great supermarket for locals and travelers passing through! :)

Good mid range supermarket. Lacks top end product. Fruit and vegetables are usually fresh. If you want a cheap family meat pie I recommend the fresh store made ones just inside the chilled cabinet near the entrance.
