Small but a very well stocked store and the staff were friendly. The checkouts could use an updated to add a conveyor belt but all good.

Heck if you want too get all you need on a budget, or cook in, or just need some tasty beverages to dance the night away... has almost everything baby wash to red wine err umm after I promise... bread to BBQ sausages.. mmm food... oh yeah easy as.

Thank you New World Ohakune for being there in Ohakune. I was visiting the mountain town last month and reached there after 6pm (summer days when the sun set was around 9pm) but almost every other takeaway or food point was closed....may be that's because it was next day after Boxing day... so got some patties, buns, sauce etc from here to make burgers for dinner. Thank Goodness you are there...keep it up!

Store looks a little outdate but it is a good store!! Staff are kind and helpful~!! Produce looks so full with a lot of variety more than what they have at big paknsave and it's all fresh and clean!! Bread was super fresh!! Checkout persons help me with bags and were patient~~~○•○ great service 10/10

Great supermarket with extensive range of products including fruit and veg, meat, deli and groceries. Staff assured me they stocked local Ohakune carrots. Warm greeting from staff. Self checkouts available for speedy service. Car park outside. Difficult to imagine how busy this place would be in the peak winter months as hords of people descend from the mountain.

What you'd expect for a small town. Some of the food selection is a bit sad, would be better seeing local produce more especially given the region.. The place gets way too busy at peak times. With that said, glad it's there!

Smaller New World with basic stock. Runs out of some specials.....so need to be quick. Under pressure when ski season or long weekends.

I was told not to expect to find coriander there but they had it so all good on that front. Also, decent beer selection so, overall not bad.

An experience to remember. The stares in awe as I walked in wearing nothing but stubbies and an singlet. I felt the true awe of my power in midwinter grace as I stepped through the sleet into the entrance. Everythibg I needed was stocked on the shelves. My thought was, where will you find a towel at 5pm on a Friday in the middle of ohakune? New world, that's where. Yes, there was a line, but I left the jealous stares of my absolute grace against the cold winds all around me. so good.

For a town of this size, the New World is pretty well stocked. You'll find pretty much everything you need, including those who prefer water free in their diets.

I visited this new world during a visit to ohakune late last year. It was a little smaller than new world I usually go shopping at but made it easier for me to find what I was looking for. The staff helped me also and gave me information about ohakune which was nice. I recommend new world for any one who visits to do the grocery shop. Ka pai.

A small and tight New World, took me a long time to find the breads, it's well hidden! Haha! Anyway, it's very handy to have New World here in this small but busy town.
