My go to local. Found Doritos Flamed grill BBQ 😋😋😋 And the C/O staff are lovely 🌹

Positives: great staff, great prices, nice and tidy, nice and easy navigation. Negatives: car park, inside, and the registers are very small (not their fault but is a fact) and can get easily cramped and also the lanes can get congested but other than that it was a really good experience, will definitely be doing my shopping there from now on

I've found it to generally be cheaper than New World eg bought pears and kiwi fruit today and having been to NW before saved myself about 50 cents per kilo on each... Also was surprised that their selection of NZ cheeses was better IMO including organic... Staff are generally pleasant and friendly

We visited this supermarket at 4pm today and were served by Moana. She served us like we were important and her job was not any bother. She was cheerful, happy and smiling all the time. So often you feel like you are doing people a favour not the other way around. Moana deserves a promotion.

Staff are always polite, we all get to know each other due to frequently shopping - just a shame there is no room for a bakery - i travel to Waikanae or Levin just to get fresh baked spiced fruit bread for $3 loaf, the best item Countdown sells 😀👍❤

Much better than the Otaki New World. Countdown staff don't play games with their customers, opening and closing, reopening and reclosing checkouts at random as they do at the Otaki New World.

Decent little spot. It was very compact, but it had all the bascis plus enough to keep you satisfied with a vast variety of products. The fruit, produce and meat all looked fresh and well kept; no browning to be seen which is always a positive. The staff were friendly and were able to quickly point me in the right direction being my first visit here. Overall a great little countdown to meet everyday needs
