T.Clean, tidy wonderful staff member who served me. Was raining heavily outside, and being Waitangi day,everyone was helpful. This can be very intense with everything going on in store. From the Covid checker outside to everyone inside thank you from a tried traveller.
S.This is a shopping experience not just a food center stock up. The good people here are gracious right from the get go. The produce is very fresh, reasonably priced, abundant and plenty of selection to humble any one's appetite for more. In fact this Countdown is our favorite within the whole Noeth Island of New Zealand because, it is so well stocked. Besides being located at the beach where many picnic tables are available to enjoy. There is a children's playground and swimming beach, sailing to watch, some people play music on the park lawn which calms our spirits. Lots to do here after a picnic as well.
B.The best cooked chicken we have EVER had, it had garlic in stuffing was so moist would highly recommend this shop staff so lovely and friendly will make the stop off when coming to Russell always 😊
v.Great happy staff couldn't say the same about some very rude locals who didn't enjoy having to share their supermarket with visitors.
