Close to home so it's very convenient! Being fairly small, it's a good place to shop when one doesn't want to walk for miles because of time limitations. Not quite the same product choices as a larger Countdown.

Very convenient location. With plenty of parking. Crowded place with a lot of shoppers. They have an international section of items too. There's always good deals. Products move fast. Fresh veggies, fruits and meat. Sometimes some items are not available.

I have been going here during lockdown as my closest supermarket. Staff are nice, I have managed to get everything I needed. I have noticed when I go, there is no online or click and collect shoppers, that I have to go around, that has been great

We live close by so convenient for us. Staff are friendly and store is clean and well stocked. There are times when customers have to queue to be served and I don't enjoy that at all. Usually I think, not enough staff are opening up the checkouts, may be they're on dinner breaks etc. I appreciate it must be challenging to manage but it could improve at busy times. It has a good bakery and delicatessen and fruit and veggie selection. I've never had to take anything back, always happy with the quality of fresh food I get. Another seat outside would be great. It has become a bit of a community hub.

Lovely staff, as per usual for Countdown, and the place is clean and tidy. It's a smaller Countdown so not everything is there but carries most common things you'll need. By not everything for example I went looking for beard oil and they didn't have any...not really an everyday kind of item but it is stocked at the bigger Rangitikei St store. If you're there for everyday stuff it'll probably be there.

I like this supermarket very much. It is conveniently located at the main road so i can get my taxi or drive there myself. The staff are really good and the selection is good too. There is discounted price most times . The atmosphere is good with warm air blown in and it comfortable to shop. I have noticed less customers here than about 6 months ago. Wheel chair and trolleys are conveniently and strategically placed. I love the roast chicken here and the RockStar energy drink. Nice prepared salads. Well you people want a treat just come down here.

Hi Countdown the young man that served me was great. Very pleasant and very helpful. As a pensioner I find it very frustrating that there is only big packets of meat. You don't seem to cater for people on their own. Other Supermarkets namely New WORLD I can get just one piece of something but I like shopping at Countdown. Could you please take this into consideration.

My supermarket of choice. Close by, compact and friendly. You can flick a V to the supermarket across the road that you don't visit because they were arsey about the deposit on a rug doctor. Feels good to be giving your business to Countdown instead. The ciabatta rolls also make the visit worthwhile.

Very Very good, there is a group of us forms where I live now going back to use Countdown ever week, to get things from Countdown @ what's I gets when I well enough its always fresh @ it last me a while. I never go to any other, if I can gets out of that, went New World recently,@ never got all I needed as. Things were more expensive @ I never got all what's I needed got Very angry, never trying there ever. @ that's the Truth of the matter for MEZ. X

I once got fish that was on the shelf as fresh, but when I got it home and opened it, the smell was rancid and there were worms in the fish that the manager mistook for bits of fat attached to a fish scale. Both my dad and I spent a minute or so after opening it at home, picking out works to make sure that it wasnt something else and we weren't overreacting. However, I was refunded double, so I got my money back and as extra, what I spent on it. I dont advise their pre-packed fish, but their fruit and vegetable selection is fresh. If you want quality meat and fish go to new world across the road.

Otaki countdown seems very honesty and have a good customer service. I am so happy with them. I shop there after I move to otaki even though the new world supermarket is much close to my house. I found to worth to shop at countdown. Good customer service !Thanks otaki countdown team to give me such a good experience. ^^

It's okay but it's overpriced really. Food in New Zealand should just be so much cheaper. This place pays its employees a pittance and treats therm unjustly while charging the customers way too much. It just exploits the community.

I went in "quiet hour". Lights were dimmed and the music was turned off. I'm really impressed with Countdown for doing this! I don't know the timings for quiet hour but I was there about 3.20pm.

It is always a very good experience when visiting our countdown store in terrace END, HOWEVER the checkout that served me didn't bother to acknowledge me with even a smile, sorted of packed the three quite heavy pint milk with 4 soft fresh loaves of bread, squashing the bread and didn't even bother to acknowledge me with anything, a smile would have been nice I think, a little disappointing, I love to shop at our local, perhaps the young lady was having a day off.

Overall the service at Countdown is good, the employee's are helpful and majority of the product and produce is of edible quality . My concern is the meat. It's not only in Countdown that this practice is used, however Countdown is my normal SuperM and so I can only talk of my experience with them. The practice of pumping water into meat to increase its weight and so increasing their profits is abhorrent and I thought illegal ! I want to fry meat, not broil it.

It's alright, i guess, could be better, though, i reckon..well like in almost four years of shopping each week here, I've probably only experienced three or four maybe five friendly workers and staff members, with...,O.M.Goodness, some of the dawn staff members are so very rude, and freaking treat Ue or watch Ue like Ur've stolen or something, o.m.g I so hate it, it is so dammm discriminating...,I mean I walk around there pretending that I don't give ae flying stuff or even care, bbbbut in reality, infact I actually do, I frickin hate it..But overall, I absolutely love Their specials at "C0UNTD0WN BR0ADWAY, P/NTH",&& all them staff members/workers that I have had awesome&amazingly great/good encounters with..,thank Ussssse all, for Ure ones great customer service skills, Use have excellent people-skill's, thanks again.!!!..AND ALL THEE VERY, VERY BEST'ED 2 USE ALSO, TAKE CARE!!

Countdown Broadway! If possible go shopping at this place, ounce you get used to where everything is that you needs each shopping time it's a great place for special's, Where I have to live @ have had now for Eleven Years those that of us that go via the Residents homes Van we all go their @ I have always before I ever had to be living hear,It's always been helpful for MEZ. Try it out for a while see how you gets on, anybody easy accessible. X

Just had to clear up the water in meat thing. NO supermarket, NONE what so ever pump water into meat, its done at the freezing works so Supermarkets have NO control over it.. Sadly this is more than legal in this country. Maybe people should get hold of their Govt Rep and ask for it to be stopped as its got way out of control.

Good store to shop at, when you are in a hurry. Good parking spots. It is a good place to have a browse, when you want to take your time. They have just upgraded the 4 self checkout machines they have in the store. So it is easier to get this purchases done quickly.
