Great experience really great welcome from security guard on door. Store still well stocked and clean. Once shopping completed had a nice farewell from the same man on the door.

My favorite supermarket with everything under one roof. Great selection of meat & fish. Lots of bakery items, cheetos chips, Lactose free milk, bulk Basmati rice bags etc. Theres also a pharmacy. Plenty of parking there. Close to Noel Learning, Mc Donald's etc..

Online order packers need to understand the difference between a red kumera and an orange kumera. 3 times I have ordered orange kumera but received red. The condition of the fruit that gets delivered is terrible

Went to the chemist at countdown. Was 3rd person in the cue. When someone finally came to serve me and I said I wanted 1 more item, he asked me if I could wait 5 minutes while he served 3 other people who had lined up after me. What the heck!! Luckily someone else came and served me.

As far as Click and Collect is concerned - the Rangitikei St Countdown is the most efficient set-up out all the Countdowns in Palmerston North - at least from my experience. Rarely have I had to wait longer than 3 minutes. The dedicated click and collect parking bays and collection area separate to the rest of the supermarket are very handy indeed.

I bought Pam's brand bell tea, English Breakfast. It is perfect for my taste. Thank you having something genuinely English on the Palmerston North soil. Thank you for making me genuinely happy countdown. Price is genuinely reasonable. I also bought Nerada organics, Chamomile organic Herbal infusion. It is also one of my favorite tea. I love dairy products very much. It is healthy in general for everybody in this world. It does make you loss weight faster though. I also bought essential brand butter, which is healthy for everybody in this world. As long as butter is not dairy free, it will always be 100% healthy for all the people on Earth. I also bought Palmolive brand, Nourishing Manuka honey, Shampoo, and Palmolive brand, Nourishing Manuka honey, Conditioner. I love the smell. Thank you for having this perfect, product in your shop. All the ingredients in this product is 100% healthy for me. That is why i was guided to use this two products. Thank you.:).

Sometimes you just want to zone out. If you rock up to this place late at night you can be assured of a peaceful, hypnotic experience. Drift along with a basket or with a trolley, listening to music that was radical back in the 90s. Whatever happened to R.E.M., I wonder? After a frantic day, it is such a relief to spend an undemanding 40 minutes weighing up the pros and cons of marginally different rice crackers, or finding brightly coloured silicone drinking straws. Retail therapy at its anodyne best. Now where did I leave the car?

Best meat selection out of all the super markets and butcheries in palmy. Best fruit and veg section. They are the freshest and cheapest. However other food items such as sauces, spreads and staple foods are rarely on sale. However this doesn’t bother me as much as I buy more meat and vegetables

Overall the staff seem to be friendly, and the selection of goods is what I'd expect. There's an on site pharmacy which is handy. Carpark can get busy, and it is sometimes a bit hard to get out onto the road

This Countdown was nicely cleaned, lots of parking space, good throughfare in the aisles and friendly staff. The food is too expensive and cheap quality. I shop there at least once per week if I don't make it to PaknSave.

My Favorite Pharmacy in NZ. This chemist will not charge any pensioner for filling his or her prescription in his shop. I have 6 items on my prescription and at nzd$5 saved an item it means every 3 months cycle i save $5 x 6 items x 12/3 cycle= $120.00 saved! If 1 nzd$ =32 peso then i save 120 x 32= peso a year. The nice tastfully decorated shop is located inside the Countdown Supermarket on Rangitikei Street in Palmerston North. The staff is just wonderful, polite and respectful. A service with a smile is always very welcome. Well i call on you delightful kiwis esp the pensioners to give this Pharmacy a go and you decide for yourself if i had lied to you. You can ring head for repeats. Opens from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. It is called Countdown Pharmacy Rangitikei Street, number 249. Palmerston North.

Favourite countdown to shop at in the area. They have a great variety of products and the staff team are all very lovely. The 'Click n Collect' service was easy to use and was very happy with the service they provided in that area.

This store does not have a very good variety of fresh fruit and veg, I prefer Pak n save or New world for that. The Pharmacy is definitely a good asset to have, very cheap too! Its always a serious mission to get out of the carpark on Featherston towards Rangitikei but other than that pretty ok.
