This person by the name Zane has assisted me multiple times throughout my visit in the store and has helped reach for items in high shelves. I am a frequent customer of this store and Zane has always been there to assist me even in the toughest times. He is a very helpful worker and I would definitely consider Zane as the greatest employ I have ever seen. This one time I was struggling to find items in the store and Zane was there to help me as always. He instantly knew what I was going to purchase, he was extremely sweet and generous and I think that he is a very underrated. He has helped me when my family was going through a tough time, he consulting and made me feel better. Zane's efforts should not be gone unnoticed and Zane should get lots of praise and respect for his efforts. Even when I was suffering from family losses he helped me get through this all. He is amazing defiantly my favorite part of my life, talking to Zane.

Love this store always immaculately clean and well presented. I have shopped there for over 30 years and it keeps getting better. Peter and his team should be proud..

Good prices on stuff but some aisles don't have items marked Eg baking goods etc Also trying to get a job here is a nightmare Applied countless times and never get a call or email back

Good. But it was getting dark and they hadn't turned to lights on outside yet. Most helpful when all I needed was two mask, the young lady got me two.

Great value for money in these tough times, defiantly go out of my way to shop from the foodstuffs brands. Paknsave palmy really puts customers first and are great ambassadors of the banner.

Good value for your money. Don't usually shop here. A bit far from where I live. But the prices are certainly cheaper

A young rapscallion by the name of Harry or “Hazza” as he is known in the community assisted my 80 year old mother in locating the crème canisters. Thank you Hazza for you have made both me and my mothers day. I just wish I could see my son Darren again.

Not a big fan of big cavernous barn style supermarkets. It was hot, and packed, long queues at check out, with no chance of social distancing; aisles could be one way. Some items appeared cheaper, but then others were way more expensive than my regular supermarket. I probably won't go back.

Great prices. Isles are well stocked. We did not have to wait long in queue at the checkout, but parking was quite difficult to get in and out of.

Found there web site easy to use. They still seem to have a good selection unlike our local New World where the shelves for many items are bare.

Heard an announcement on the PA system saying "Masks are mandatory". 10 seconds later there are 2 people without masks wandering around. Complained and was told by the supervisor "We don't enforce it and don't check for exemptions". So masking is NOT mandatory - just "If you feel like it, we don't care. Profits before people". Yet the local businesses - No mask, no service. PATHETIC

I have been shopping here for about 6 years now. Compared to other supermarkets I save about $20 each week. Even basmati which is over $15 in other supermarkets here it's only $10.50 for 5 kgs. Lactose free UHT milk cartons are gold and hard to find in other supermarkets which cost me about $4 elsewhere. Here Pam's Soy milk is only $2.29 & $2.49 for Pams almond milk. Other bargains include disposable gloves which are $15 elsewhere. Here it's only $7.99 for 100 pairs. Handwash is scarce elsewhere & dear too is only $ threeish which is half the price for 1 Litre. Canned PINK salmon is $3.49 here and $8 elsewhere for 400g. A 12 roll Toilet paper is $2.49 which is double the price elsewhere. 3 full chicken breasts cost me less than $8 which is about $14 elsewhere.

Normally a good range of products. Easy to find what you want once you been there a couple times. Just dont go on sunday. No shelves get restocked so you cant get a full range. Terrible sunday

I was impress of how kindly the staff was. This kind man help me find milk. He was named Zane. I needed the milk for my desert of Easter dinner. I could't find due that Pak'n Save had oficially run out of stock of milk. This nice guy ofiaclly save the most important dinner of my life. Thank you Zane.

It's huge store with plenty of parking space and along with Pak and save fuel station which can be used for a discounted price after shopping here. The store has almost everything that one need for grocery. But we did not like the meat section. It wasn't great and the meat available on special was not of good quality

One of the best craft beer selections in Palmy, worth checking out. Good bakery selection. Decent for groceries, limited selection in some things, but others more, especially if you're looking for larger pack sizes. Can get very crowded at times, inside and carpark. Tidier than it used to be.

My favourite place to go to stock up for the family. Good prices range and very friendly staff

Nice to see the full shelves. Found everything thing we needed. Did find the Trolley Guy grumpy, cutting in front of us twice, once on the way in and as we were trying to exit.

Not my usual supermarket, was very busy. Young lady at express check out was helpful and pointed out a spare checkout.

Excellent service, my suggestion is to add small appliances section, small kitchen appliances such as microwave, mini fridge, rice cooker ect.....

As someone who cannot wear a mask, I just want to thank the staff members who greet customers at the door at PaknSave. The anxiety levels just leaving the house are physically debilitating at times, but I feel so much better when greeted with kindness and understanding as I proceed to do my shopping. The public hand sanitiser is always empty, when it is extremely busy, there is never enough staff. Apart from that it is a normal supermarket - with some empty shelves as is the norm now.

Easy shopping, no crowds today. Definitely think I saved on my usual NW SHOP. Lots of good fresh fruit and vegetables, didn't notice any over ripe items! Excellent choice of meats, fish & chicken Well stocked shelves, helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff but don't expect them to pack your bags its store policy to help save the customer money. Buying bulk is the way to shop at paknsave with some really good deals. The shops look like cheap warehouses. Some weeks paknsave have heaps of the product you'll be looking for and other weeks there's nothing meaning the same location but different products there.

Only stopped in here on my journey to the south island as there fuel price was $2.39 at the pump almost. 30 cents cheaper than anywhere else

Nice and clean grocery store. I like shopping at Pak N Save because it is cheaper then New World and Countdown. Downside of Pak n Save is it doesn't have a huge product range like the other grocery stores do.

Great variety , but the staff could be more open to helping us out . Felt like I was disturbing a staff member when I asked where a product was located , she took me to.it , but didn't say a word to me other than ok when I said thank you .

Awesome place to shop. Wide aisles and well laid out. The only pitful is the fruit and vegetable area. Very cluttered needs a rethink as it is the original point of entry.

Great costumer service! 😍 every week we go with my toddler (3) and baby (8m). They have trolleys for two kids. I’ve come to learn that no other supermarket has this kind of trolleys!And at the self check out, when your kids are loosing it, the staff are so kind! Some will even engage with your toddler and if they like it, it helps calm them down. (My son is super social so he always talks with them).

This is the best Pak n Save store I have shopped at for years. And i go to a lot. Well stocked and better lay out. More variety to choose from and the staff are awesome and helpful. Highly recommend

As usual, produce, meat etc were plentiful. Always have a great selection of veges and fruit and so fresh. Great discounts on meat. Staff are really great too. So helpful and pleasant.

Streetwise at paknsave is outstanding. The super market is also great. Great prices, great products. The only thing that could be better is the environment. Maybe we can't have everything including great prices. But if it's possible to keep the prices low, the products great and a great place to be it would be perfect.

I go to this supermarket because of good product range, reasonable price and friendly staff. Also store is clean and kept well stocked. In the case of this store, you really do save money as opposed to the other, (that shall remain nameless) supermarket chains.

Always something to get fm Pakys. Usually has what you need as long as its essential items, other exotic things you may need to go elsewhere. .Still reccomend Pakys as cheapest in Palmy!

Clean and pretty big (but not the biggest). Also the heaven of craft beers (so far, the pak n save that I've visited with the widest selections of alcoholic beverages). Self checkout available.

Good variety, great prices. No mess no fuss

Very well stocked, cheapest prices - good and fresh fruits and vegetable produce. Easy access for disable patients, and you can use your card from your mobile phone to pay for your shopping. I'm not sure if all banks have this perk but I know ANZ uses Google Pay on their ANZ Application if you don't have your card on you to pay for your product. The staffs are friendly and willing to help you upon request. The store is well maintained and very well organized. Lots of parking spaces, abit narrow but lots of space. Has its own gas services just a few steps aware from the store.

Staff weren't all that helpful and they don't go gold card deals, like they do in Masterton. I asked.

The largest variety of most foodstuffs with the best overall prices - Well laid out store as with all Pak'nSaves. It didn't appear to be as large as it's Whanganui cousin which surprised me. Good shopping experience.

Got everything on the list for only $4 over budget.... absolute madness navigating the store as people rushing around without a care in the world, do a little bit unsettling 4 days after a major surgery getting around on crutches 3/5

My experience was that I went to a building adjoining PaknSav to get my Covid injection. That experience was great, but PaknSav storeroom through the wall, well??? When I do go there, experience ok because self checkouts work well.

Great selection of craft beer. Best in Palmerston North by a mile. Very well managed by someone passionate about the product. If you want the latest craft beers come here.

It's a ideal place to buy groceries. You will get everything that you need. Nice staff specially the check out counters, they are fast enough to move the queue quickly.

There are always some really good specials. But it is very frustrating when some items have no price. To me that just means NO SALE!

Clean & tidy. Loved the deal on eggs. Why dont you cut your pork roasts in half. The ones you have are too big. If they were halved i would bye 2 & put 1 in the freezer. Also I love the Avalanche caramel Latte & they are never there. Dont bye the other ones, no one gets them because there are always lots of them on the shelves!!! Thanks

Very good parking, bakery is very good, there blue berry muffins are excellent, l go there sometimes just to get them. They don't hold all brands, but good value for money. Staff very pleasant and helpful, but over all a good Supermarket. Thankyou Louise

Hard to find wanted products in store. Signage needs to be improved and not at the tops of the aisles. Noted same in kilbirnie store. I hate wasting time walking up and down lanes trying to find things Especially in these uncertain covid times.

This is a very cultured place, the amount of food they have is expenential, they are indeed the best supermarket in NZ, and all around the globe.

Very good experience. A big store with plenty of room between the aisles for the large number of shoppers. Lots of checkout options. No queues. Many bargains. Also plenty of variety of products. I was very impressed.

Large store plenty of car parking available. Fruit is a bit hit and miss alot of it is bashed so take some time picking through it. Great selection of meat at very good prices. Fresh fish and frozen good section. For food shopping it's great sells almost everything you need. Staff are good they even pack your trolley but remember to bring your own bags.

same products as New World at a cheaper price

Well stocked section of good quality produce, at reasonable prices (well, towards the lower bound of the range - on the whole we're still being shafted in NZ), and I can get most of the things I need here. A slightly bigger range of organic products wouldn't go amiss, but then a supermarket can't cater for everyone's needs.

Massive range, slim parking spaces thou. Carpark area was a bit dirty and grubby upto the doors but inside was nice and clean. Quick service through the sled checkouts. Only downside was that to even get one particular item you have to go all around the store even if the item is behind the sled checkouts.

I bought, Mrs Rogers Natural, Himalayan Pink Salt Fine, which was produced in Pakistan, without child labour. I use this in my cooking sometimes, and also use it for spiritually clean things. This salt has alot of spiritual benefits in Angel Shailene's life. I bought Silk brand Petroleum jelly. It is perfect for my face, and other areas of my body. Thanks for having this wonderful product at your shop. I also bought Johnson's bedtime baby lotion. I apply that on my face ,and it is perfect also. Thanks for having this perfect face lotion, in my case :),in your shop. I also bought ST.Ives brand EVEN & BRIGHT Pink lemon & mandarin orange scrub. It is perfect for my skin. All the ingredients are perfectly, healthy in this product for my skin type. The pricing of this product is done, in spiritually clean manner at Pak 'n Save, Palmerston North .

The place had some good Xmas item prices. The range isn't huge so it doesn't always meet my dietary needs. The checkout lady was engaged and efficient.

Not too bad. Found it a bit difficult finding our way around as this was our 1st visit and am used to a different store. Staff very helpful & checkout operator was cheerful and welcoming.

Their customer service is cool love shopping at PakNSave but I wish there was more variety.

Lowest priced supermarket in Palmy. Large carpark, so not so good on a rainy day. Petrol and diesel on sale here. Stocks a good range of products, but not a great range of brands. It's a long walk from the entrance to the checkouts so don't go if you're tired or hungry. Best value here, excellent fresh fruit and vegetables, excellent bakery, excellent fish.

What can I say, it's a Pak n Save supermarket. Big store, good range, good prices, sadly the new management dropped the shop and go scanners which were a real time saver. And also now all the multi buy specials are priced by bundle rather than each which means you can't grab just one extra, you're forced to get 2 or 3 or whatever the bundle deal is, which wasn't how it worked before. Store is open good hours also.

My only issue is for the last 4 years I have been going here, the public toilet is never in a reasonable condition. There is in stains on the floor, and urine stains in my nose when I have reluctantly used it. I would not sit down there and it makes me thankful I am a male. I cringe when I have to touch the handles, as they are grimy and the paintwork needs replacing, last time I was there I don't even think the locks worked. There is not any air freshener and don't look up at the extraction fan. Would get 4 stars if this changed.

Huge place. Huge selection of everything. More than our local in whakatane. There is so much room in this shop. Heaps of self serve isles and the deli and seafood atea is awesome. Huge range of fish. Plenty of car park and a coffee cart out side the doors. Central to town as well. The bread 8sle is huge too. If you can't find what your looking then nz probably doesn't have it hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahagahahagagagagaga

Pacnsave parlmerston north fully stocked have most of what you need very good service quick processing the stores through the outlets and self service

Things can be quite cheap, but the range is very lacking. Quite often has customers blocking the whole aisle with themselves and their trolleys, even though the aisles are bigger here than the other supermarkets.

Good value for money all around. Good products with variety. Not as of a pleasant shopping experience due to its size and is generally crowded with waits for both shop n go and checkouts.

Sandler's usual charm and antics of childish-humor and gags are displayed, but it takes a turn into the dramatic direction towards the end, which makes it hard to determined what kind of film this is. It has its laughs, its futuristic-technology-based layouts and even its somber tones. The amount of genre-blending makes it hard to say you can laugh or cry for this movie. Regardless it makes for a fair Sandler film.

Fresh/vege produce area is very misplaced and annoying to navigate. And no thankyou Susan I only want 1 pack of biscuits for 2 dollars not 8 for packs for 14 dollars 🤦

Good prices. The store has a very large fruit and vegetable section. Good variety of products overall. Can get crowded though and the smell at the butchery is horrible.

Friendly staff and fair prices. Layout is all over the place, you usually have to ask where something is. However these people are willing to help and will give you a bee line to follow.

All Pak n Sav are the same. Groceries are much cheaper compared to their competitors. I never like the atmosphere here, gets crowded and can be untidy and messy in the green grocery department. If you after 5pm on Sundays the meat selection is poor. Fish can be sad n sick looking that you would want to stay away from. I only shop at Pak n Save if i need to buy in large quantities of meat for entertaining..

After having shopped at paknsave for as long as its been opened I have never seen the hole place I such unclean state as it was today, inside but mainly outside and the condition of the trolleys. Very disappointed

Ecnomical shopping with nice merchendising and service

PAK 'nSAVE Prices are as usual cheaper than their rivals. Vegetsbles are expensive including salad vegetables. If consumer's are to eat plus 5 a day then that's not going to happen anytime soon. Staff and service are excellent as usual just prices for healthy food groups are expensive.

Intended from the outset to be a budget supermarket it lacks some of the niceties of other supermarkets but that is to be expected. Prices are low, variety is good but compared to other PAK'nSAVE's does not quite earn that last star due to a slightly more dated feel.

Staff were helpful, friendly at the self checkouts. Store was well stocked with what I needed.

Noisey.. watching children unattended putting there little grubby fingers in birthday cakes lifting the lids with ease and poke poke Children running a muck no disciple. Apart from that. I like pak and sav.

The smell from the butchery means I wouldn't buy any meat product. Extremely off putting. Once through the area there can be some good specials.

Good, room to park the bus. Bigger shop than up Northland well stocked.

The new owners have made some changes and the prices are not so sharp. Selection has been reduced but that’s due to foodstuff policy driven by Auckland

It has some great specials but, it is not the cheaper for some things. With food prices on the up, it does pay to Shop around

Fantastic range but don't like how you changed your deals e.g were 2 for $4 and you could buy 1 for $2 you don't do it like that anymore

They had spiderman cake and reserved it for me when I called up.

It's okay, However the products are cheap and sometimes nasty. I also wouldn't consider it a convenience store as it is fairly large.

First time in ages that I have enjoyed shopping at pak n save . Thanks to the lovely customers for chatting, and to the 2 amazing staff for thier help today.

The store was well laid out and had free parking. The shelves were fully stocked and carried everything I needed.

Always hectic with lots of shoppers because it's a good store. Checkouts are busy but the checkout staff are very fast.

No baskets cause chaos! I'm sure I'm not the only one who requires a trolley for a small load. On the other hand, the quality of stock is higher than other PAKnSaves.

Great for cheap bargains but would not buy meat from this store as you can smell off meat before you get to the meat produce area.

A local supermarket claimed to have the lowest prices and lowest values. It has aisles with sections, such as first aid to bread and milk. It also has a petrol stop.

Busy place at times always with a good selection of specials. Checkouts can be a bit long at times so you should pick your times

Has most things, but in comparison to say countdown, you'd have to spend $250 yo save $10 and countdown is a much nicer shopping experience.

Great store - heaps of parking, excellent quality produce, beautiful clean shop with lots of space even when busy.

Our second favourite Pak n Save to shop at only because they stopped the shop n go programme which we love so Masterton is our favourite.

I like coming here it real cheap for food and has good variety of gluten free food here
