J.Love this supermarket staff are friendly and helpful and the vast range of grocery items is great. Fantastic meat selections and really impressed with GF options. Bakery items are consistently fresh and tasty. Cafe gives off a relaxed feel and the grounds are very well maintained. Happy to shop local and support this business.
J.One of my favourite supermarkets. Always have a great selection of gluten free options which makes eating at home far more enjoyable.
S.Supermarket was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe was appalling, they had no customers, I stood there waiting to be served for atleast a minute while the cafe staff argued with each other right in front of me- they made eye contact, still didn't serve me and just carried on arguing.
Will be back for the Supermarket, but won't waste my time at the cafe again.

L.Very handy for local shopping. A clean well stocked smaller more personal supermarket. The deli and onsite baked bread have a varied range of product. A little more expensive than their bigger brother's, but if u live in the area no need to get the car out. Staff friendly and helpful what more could u ask for.

P.A good deli/ bakery and useful for your local grocery shop, will not have as wide a selection so shopping elsewhere for specific items may be needed.
S.Great priced selection of meats. Always come out with more than the 1 thing I needed because of that. Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely tidy store all round great place😊

N.So great to have FreshChoice Supermarket in Prebbleton not far from where we live. Have bought our groceries there and find the layout and prices excellent and staff very friendly&helpful.Very clean bathroom and excellent parking.
J.My husband and l went to Fresh Choice Prebbleton for the first time last week, what a revelation! The aged meat, wonderful friendly staff, did l mention the aged meat!!!! You can buy your own meat there and they will continue to age it for you, we had our meat vacuum packed for us at no extra charge, staff were beyond helpful!! Special shout out to Juanita, our cashier who was just lovely. Best experience shopping l have had in.... forever!!
D.Relatively close to my home in Halswell, Christchurch where we only have a New World supermarket. This luvly nu Fresh Choice is so close, a brilliant new shop, gr8 staff & layout. A breath of fresh air & another option.
E.Happy as it's close to my home, I don't have to travel. As like to shop mid weekly mornings. I was disappointed my favourite bread Burgen gluten free wasn't in stock. Plus I have put a request since the store open to stock Old El Paso spice mix for chili. As to date it is not there, is there a problem? Regards Margaret

B.Well this is a first for this reviewer. Five stars from a recent visit to this store. Prices generally in line with the overpriced goods kiwis pay. However as a shopping experience - the store was well laid out, has a nice flow as you walk through and some excellent offerings such a cafe, deli, chiller. The staff were helpful and smiling which is simply refreshing. Check out was a breeze - quick, efficient and with a smile. I was even called sir!! This is instead of 'mate' at another large supermarket recently. Full Mark's fresh choice prebblton - reduce those prices by 10% and you get six stars👌
n.Not bad to have a visit there. Still they have no loyalty scheme. Prices are competitive, reasonable. Seems like a subchain of Count down group as you may notice many products under Countdown brand name..

B.A new shop is on the block in Prebbleton & while it's not vast like some places I've been in it's got all the cook requires to please the rest of the family 😋. Plus if you enjoy aged meat this is the place to come to as you can not only purchase a small amount but also buy a entire joint 🍖 & the staff will put your name on it & you can rest assured that your cut will be available whenever you wish to get it. If you're interested get in asap & check it out.
For those who like bread well theres lots of loaves sitting waiting to go home with you & if you have a sweet tongue check out the lollies isle, mmm. Another thing is the small plastic trolleys made from 74 milk bottles🥛🍼 they are light & easy to push.
Just inside the entrance/exit is a small counter where I guess you can get a coffee, as I don't drink the stuff I dont really take a lot of notice but its clean & tidy. One of the most important parts of any supermarket are the staff & these people are pretty dam good & seem to know where everything is plus they have a smile on their faces - always good. All up I think Prebbleton has done all right & the prices look fairly good as well. Overall it's well worth going in for a shop, see you there. 🐧
