J.Its a general grocery market. The staff seemed to be working well. The checkout person was friendly. I do hope that they able to get a screen in where you can see the item and the price of that item before the customer has to pay 😶
A.As a security guard, I have worked here a few times and I really enjoyed it! The staff are a great bunch and 99.99% of shoppers are friendly and very appreciative of my help.

J.Checkout chick's are lovely, but I always struggle to find what I need. Stuff I love ends up being taken off the shelf or is not in stock.
G.Great little supermarket for a rural town. Not as big as Countdowns usually are, so the range is a lot more limited, but they've got a surprisingly decent range considering. Access in/out can be a bit of a pain as you're turning onto a state highway (often blind due to parked cars) and they have recently stopped the ability to turn right out of the exit which is a pain
S.I've always had plenty of smiles whilst there and the staff are constantly helpful when needed.
A.They never have things you want. Like cooking things. Like starinece or cefron. Being the only supermarket in town this is an embarrassing situation.

A.Lovely girl behind counter was helpful directing me to what I needed. Shop was a great place to pick up supplies enroute to Tauranga after 6 hrs on the road. It's the 2nd time I've stopped here on long trips home.
J.Great little supermarket, they have a awesome system at the checkouts to pack back into the trolleys, never seen it done that way at countdown. Makes the checkout process fast and easy
K.Have been here a lot seen as my mother lives here. It seems the regularly have failures with their freezer units during summer, which is a major annoyance I gotta say.
You would think that if it keeps happening, which it dies... It would make sense and had to save money overall if they replaced the freezers !?
With the loss of stock, loss of sales, and customers that go elsewhere...sorry, but it's a no brainier to me!

W.Convenient location for a shopping stop as well as a vehicle refuel. Not as large a range as you would find in larger locations but to be expected in a smaller town. The service is good, staff are friendly, and I happily stop here for necessary supplies.

J.Though this Countdown outlet seems to be a smaller outlet, with less options and limited parking, I like that they are well organized and clean. The staff working in the store are friendly but the cashier seems to put up a sour face to us.

a.It's ok. Your typical rural countdown. Parking is a bit limited. Usual countdown produce. It's a good place to stop on your way to Taupo and stock up on food and drink.

H.countdown is always THE COUNTDOWN.. maintaining consistency in all outlets.. Putaruru being a tourist place, they could introduce a barista Cafe for more revenue added sales..
