I used the scanner as i always do. Bought 2 bags of Heartlands chips different flavour but both cost the same $1.99 each. Scanned just one bag twice. We had over 120 items totalling $597. At the check out there was a random check for 24 items which was fine but guess what one of the check items the chips was Scanned and what do you know it wasn't registered although the other bag was scanned as 2 items and common sense could see there were just 2 bags of chips. The check out person asked me if I'd scanned the other bag and I said no, just one bag twice. I am suddenly a suspect. Tried to explain but to no avail. They scanned every single item in our two shopping carts. Took them 10 minutes and found nothing else. When I looked at the final printout, it just showed Heartland chips for both nothing to indicate they were of a different flavour each. What a waste of ours and their time. I can understand that they would have had people try and get away with this, but with a Bill of just under $600??

New Zealanders or tourists, this is the place to shop for value, selection and freshness. Pak N Save doesn't disappoint, we only feel comfortable shopping here, no inflated prices or dodgy shopping tactics, just clean wide isles for your enjoyment. Everything you could ever need is here.

Nice large Pak n save store in the town. Very huge store and super aisles make shopping very comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful. Huge amount of parking spaces are available. The late extended opening hours are a very handy feature for this store. Special prices are available on a lot of products which definitely means a good bargain. The location is convenient and very picturesque as well, as everything in Queenstown.

Very Friendly and Helpful staff I'm a regular shopper here. I even stopped the Manager one day and was asking Him about the difference in 2 different packets of batteries , They had changed the packaging, He didn't call His staff to attend to my perhaps insignificant question , Instead He spent a lot of time going thru the different packages with me, well that showed me He cares, and if He cares about a packet of batteries you can be sure He cares about You and what your Family needs. I found Him to be very friendly and courteous My dollars can be spent anywhere at any Supermarket but I'd rather spend it in a Supermarket that gives me, a warm greeting, from the checkout operators to the Supervisors to the Management Anyway, Pak n Save takes time to help its customers . I am not in anyway Associated with Pak n Save apart from Shopping there and eating there produce which is every bit as good as those who work there and to Anthony and Michelle Owner operators. Well done Guys Your just the best. PAK N SAVE YOU HAVE MY VOTE OF CONFIDENCE.

Best looking pak n save I've been to in NZ and my favourite one. I dont know what it is, the ambience, space, or just how modern it is inside and the parking.

Geeat location, easy to find, accurate GPS from Waze and Google map, so shouldnt have any problem of finding it. A lot of parking bays, I was driving a campervan and got the parking every time I go. Good deal. The seafood is fresh here. Staff are friendly, was asking about an item and the staff is really helpful.

This is truly the most awesome Pak'n'Save we have ever visited. We are down here for a week long holiday, be able to get fresh produce, breakfast stuff, UMF10+ honey, cherries, deli, even Chiken'n’Chips from there! Saved us a big load of money on food and still be able to eat healthy! The staff are super helpful! We love this shop and suggest people on holiday in queenstown give it a go!

If I compare stock though, Albany and Wairau Pak and Save have more variety of literally everything from bread, fresh produce and Asian groceries. Other than that, it's new, clean, and staff are helpful and friendly.

Nicest Pack’ n Save I’ve been in NZ so far. Clean and bright. Have to mention that I left something behind after shopping in the bench area for bagging(I am very forgetful). And after a week I went back and asked and they have kept it into records and I got it back in the end. Very delighted. Especially THANKS Benjo the helpful customer service staff.

What an amazing spacious supermarket! Lovely wide aisles with lists of what is down the aisle posted up high so it is easily seen. We were looking for ice-cream cones and be warned they are not near the ice cream. Rather, they are diagonally opposite at the other end of the shop! We asked a shelf stacking person where to find them and he was really helpful in that he knew where to locate them and offered to take us to them. Great service! Their prices are pretty good too. Two self checkout aisles, depending on whether you have one of their cards or not. I like to have a human put my groceries through so I chose the human option. The lady was really friendly.

Should be a saver. Sells same goods at 30%-40% less then Four Square of city. Huge variety, big store. Make sure to stuff up when entering Queenstown if you are entering from this side. Save here and spend somewhere else instead of burdening the budget on grocery fruits and drinks or on the day to day eatery.

Great price considering the restaurant price around. We are lucky, the have fresh Buff oyster in stock for the day. $29 a dozen for the highest grade. Also got the raw fresh salmon egg, great taste, very fresh, no salt added, if you dare. Also got the tuna sashimi. Great price for a great meal....

I have been to many pak n save’s before. This one you turn right on entry instead of left which was unique. I spotted two people opening food items and one eating from the produce section. Perhaps should hire some security for the shop as staff did not seem to care. I would check items are sealed because of this before purchasing. Like most pak n sav it’s well laid out and the prices are not much more than my local which surprised me being qtown. Was also interesting the amount of people shopping in full makeup and heels 😅 like a episode of botched or desperate housewives, nice change from the pyjamas and beer guts at most pak n saves. Good option to buy your supplies.

The warehouse concept, played out well in a supermarket. Good prices, very good range, wide isles. I think the staff could be a little better in terms of their service delivery. Best in mind, if you look under 25 or have someone with you that does, no alcohol will be sold to you.

This big store provides everything you need in the way of groceries etc, in a well laid out spacious area, with wide aisles, allowing plenty of room for passing other shoppers. We didn’t need to do a big shop on our trip to the store, but it’s good to see the regular prices, considerably cheaper than the bustling Four Square in town. As expected, a shop of this size has pretty much everything that families, couples and individuals need from a supermarket, at prices that won’t make you wince. The self serve checkouts are numerous and well staffed for any required clearance items like alcohol etc. I also appreciated the .06 cent fuel discount, especially with fuel prices being what they are right now!

Good place to make bulk purchases. Slightly remote from the transportation and closest cities. Has a great deals on food and beverages however not necessarily the cheapest. Some products might be either the same or even cheaper in Countdown!

This is by far the best Paknsave in the world. The supermarket is massive and they have a large selection including whole beef fillets. Almost worth coming to Queenstown just for this supermarket. Overall Queenstown supermarket is amazing and you should definitely add it to your bucket list 10/10.

Great Special's, awesome staff only too pleased to help would recommend you pay a visit there soon. Make sure you register with Sticky Club adds to the fuel vouchers prices mines up to 15 cent's a litres but increases each time you buy your groceries so by the end of the month I could be up to 50cents a litre by then my car will need fuel. Well worth it. If you don't ask, you miss out!!

Convenient location if you have access to a car. They have everything you need at reasonable prices. If you're from overseas and buying alcohol make sure you bring your passport. One staff member was halfway through taking our alcohol out of our trolley while asking for mine and my partners passports. I'm assuming they have a high occurrence of people not bringing their passports with them when buying alcohol. The only valid form of ID besides a passport is a New Zealand drivers license.

Standard PAK'nSAVE good prices (for nz) and you get 6c off of petrol at the petrol station which makes it the cheapest petrol around Queenstown as far as I can tell. Well worth doing your shopping here if you need to fuel up.

This PAKn SAVE is a very large shop and has most items with great specials on most of the time. they have a gluten free section. also allergy section. best time to go is Tuesday night's as not so busy and it is easy to find a park. if this comment helps you please give thumbs up

Great place to stop and get groceries for tourists. 5mins from the airport. And also close to a lot of car hire places so you can pick up your hire car then stop in there. Plan your day and enjoy the view. Everythinga so open at the car park so you can park up take photos plan your holiday and grab groceries. Which btw is very neat and tidy. Very easy to find your daily food or other essentials.

This supermarket has the largest aisles I've ever seen. Huge meat section including several good cuts for open fire cooking like tomahawk steaks, standing rib roast and pork belly. Beer section is also impressive.

The best place to shop in Queenstown! The mussels and salmon are must try! Just remember to bring your passport with you if you were to buy liquors... Very strict laws, they won't even accept Australian driving license.

A decent Supermarket. 3* for following: - If you do not provide plastic bags for environment reasons so at least start providing Bio-degradable bags. And also stop buying from any Suppliers who use Plastic Packaging. - Sticky Club Card is of No use. No one is interested in your FUEL discounts and to fill from your company operated Fuel Stations. If you are so concerned about Reward Schemes - do Flybuys or Airpoints or New world card. For now Stick the Sticky card up your Shaft.

Had a bad experience at the self cashier machine. The female assistant made it really complicated rather than assisting. However she realized at the end, it was a barcode mistake. The part I didn't like was that she asked my wife to go with her to the shell where we took those cashews. Very unprofessional.

Today I was here doing my monthly shop which is a big one, unfortunately my toddler & baby decided to fall asleep on us, inbetween sorting our sleeping children out the very kind staff members helped me unload my groceries onto the pass while I held my sleeping baby & my friend rushed my toddler to the car & also helped me push the trolley out to my car. I was very overwhelmed with such kind staff! It would have been Such a awkward situation made easy thank you so much!:)

I like food, especially when its cheap, actually not very different to other Pak n save branches throughout Newzealand, but google forces me to write a review so im trying my best. Who would read a review about Pak N Save? Sometimes Im wondering what went wrong in the past...

You will never expect that your finger will be cut by a fish head 😂 My finger was cut by a sharp fish bone while I was packing items into shopping bag after check out. I asked one of the staff if possible to have one bandage as my finger was bleeding and I still not finish pack and don't want to mix my blood with unwrapped food. The young lady say to me : "Sorry, we don't have it, you need get in and buy through a counter" (fortunately, I had one napkin in pocket🤣) It's not big deal for me, but it's highlighted 3 things that you guys may need improve. 1. Food Hygiene, First Aid Kit. 2. Double bags for fish, crab, prawn that anything has shell or bone. Potential hazard. 3. Thoughtful Mindset training for some staffs. I believe lots of the kids are shopping with parents and those angels always like to help packing if their parents bought lolly 😆, if the incident was a kids instead of me, what you guys should do. Thanks team, hope someone will read and take action.

And if you spend over $200 you get a free coffee/hot drink of your choice at their cafe near the exit. It is safe to say that this Pak n Sav has the best back drop amongst all in NZ
