Easy access, plenty of room 2 move trolley. Liked the reduced 2 clear section. Gud customer service.

Our choice of Countdowns in this town. Reasonably large aisles. It's usually quiet early in the morning for those who are sensitive to noise and lots of people.

A smaller and more cramped Countdown than the other 2 in Rotorua. Items were easy to find. Pity about the poor spelling of muesli, on the overhead sign. Get it fixed, guys.

Love the staff ,the people who shop there very humble and respectable great service and heaps of specials and savings I love shopping 🛒 at countdown 😸

Everything is in roughly the same place as Countdown on Fenton, so it will make sense to anyone who frequents the Countdown on Fenton

Well stocked shelves and good customer service. Clean and tidy store.

Customer service wasn't great. Staff were talking amongst each other leaving customers waiting to be served. Not the first time I've encountered this exoerience. Overall I like the large space in the aisles to move through with ease. Well signposted for finding merchandise.

Countdown staff are lovely but they never have enough checkouts open .But I always get nice check out staff friendly and helpful. Ruth Ferreira

Great place. Awesome effort with the lockdown announced. Team reacted well and staggered customers upon entry. Really good to see protocols in place quick and smart.

A busy grocery supermarket, stock is consistent with other Countdowns in NZ.

Spacious and well stocked. Nice vege and fruit displays, always fresh baking.

Love doing my shopping here,just can't get my export gold 0% beer or if they do have it ,it's never in the chiller

Usually not too much of a line durinf covid and is easy to navigate.

Countdown in the middle of town ....easy access ...usually has some good specials and a small.range of clearance items

Just a small store, doesn't have everything but convenience if you are already at the mall.

Handily located beside the Central Mall therefore plenty of carparks. Does not quite have the same selection of goods as slightly larger Countdown stores.

Very handy to home,plenty of parking,Countdown shopping GREAT,shoppers movement within the store flow by where all shoppers know where their items of purchase are,no matter the age group. Staff always very helpful and pleasant Central Mall also has a great free flowing movement by where shoppers have great respect for each other around them. Shop outlets have all provided safe awareness to their customers and staff. What more can anyone expect when pan/19 has made us aware of what can happen in times of a crisis. LETS ALL KEEP SAFE.

Sick of packing my groceries! At New World they pack your groceries.

It's my usual Grocery Shop. The Staff are friendly and able to have a bit of Fun with them. The shifted the Eggs. I asked if the Choojs are Off the Lay? Ha! Ha! Happy experience makes shopping , as usual.

Just dropped in to pick up a few items, service is good 👍

Another fantastic experience at Countdown. Clean & fully stocked as always. Great selection & pricing. Lots of trolleys in the corral so no problems there. Easy in easy out. Parking lot is clean & accessed easily.

My review is slightly different and not directed at the shop itself but the staff. I did a delivery in there today and I had a few dramas. The man and security guard that came and helped me were absolutely fantastic. I just wish to thank them both ☺️

It's got everything you need 😊

I've only been there a few times and just had a quick pop in to grab some lunch and snacks for my baby which was great cause the supermarket I usually go to for weekly shopping dosent have any of the baby snacks in there stock at all so I loved the variety I could grab for my baby and the multi buy was super cheap for me I was actually surprised and the customer services was nice.. no complaints from me

Only gave 3 stars because I didnt see signage for personal hygiene and at the checkout out when I asked for a certain brand of cigarette they gave me one that is $20 more than what I normally pay

We buy our groceries from this Countdown as it’s less busier than the other shops and I have an AA card. Items are quite organised yet some products are just expensive compared to this other supermarket. I liked shopping here as it just have almost everything I needed.

Limited entry due to Covid19. I walk with crutches and the lady on the door got me a trolley. THANK YOU that was a tremendous help.

I don't particularly like shopping for groceries but it is really cool when people go out of their way to be very helpful. Thank you staff much obliged

I had a terrible experience at Fairy Springs Countdown, remember to keep customer service as your main focus please Countdown.

Good prices and selection, but easily one of the worst bunches of apples I've ever bought. Looked great, but extremely floury, dry and tasteless. They can do better.

The one on Fenton has more choice, is bigger and is easier to navigate but I go to this one when I am in a rush

Lovely shop with really friendly staff. Loads of easy parking and the store is clean. Good for a quick top up or the weekly shop. Rotorua shopping mall almost next door. Have a browse around then get something nice for dinner.

The only place to have $10 roblox gift cards... Shocking

It's a bit of a funny layout but has pretty much everything you expect from a countdown. There dose need to be some more signage to tell you were exactly it is though. The road signs point you to the car park but it's on the other side of the mall.

the overhead signs are to high, they need to be more ground level or there abouts. Which means the products on display end to end need to be above the signage or on the stock shelves where they should be. But then again I'm only the customer!

Found it hard finding what I was after as I was not familiar with their layout and not all the aisles were signed with what was in them.

Have all the groceries, came for some left handed toothpicks (aisle4)...noticed trump in aisle 6 humming 'wichita lineman' whilst deciding which cereal to buy..think he went for fruit loops?

When lm passing the store l find it easy to. Pick up whatever is required at the time.. Handy store at central..

8pm shopping, nice and quiet experience. Close to CBD and local bus routes.

Very handy little supermarket

Struck a rude lady on checkout who snatched the chiller bag off the conveyer to start bagging our groceries. Tried to aske her to do a separate transaction for a couple of items before shed started putting things through but was ignored. Wasn't a bad little countdown, the checkout experience was less than desirable.

Countdown Central Mall is awesome, everything easy to find and the staff are always on hand to help, I like searching for items on lock-down and being a one card member the shopping comes with a discount of savings.

The service was great, the isles were a little bit empty, but the isles were organized well.

It's always good to go there,great staff there. Had to line up before going into the store though

If your wanting to avoid a lot of people, but still need to go do your shopping, this mall is the one for you, it's convenient for times your just too lazy to get done up, but still need to do the (Check list).

If you can get past the parking being an issue around popular shopping times and the pain of getting there through poorly indicated pathways through similar looking parking areas with exits/entries at poorly designed places, the mail itself is functional but too small if you are used to the level of choice offered in places like Hamilton and Tauranga. Without the Warehouse and the food court, I think the remainder of the mall would slowly wither. If you need something, come here, but don't make a trip thinking you'll be enveloped by a dreamlike shopping Mecca.

Pretty good Countdown, it has lovely fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, drinks, and packaged food. I use this supermarket often and the staff seem pretty friendly.

So my first experience of shopping in New Zealand...well if you have the dough it's a decent place

Smaller than its Fenton St. counterpart, it has a smaller range, but still good quality, lots of parking, and convenient if you're shopping at the Mall.

The staff were friendly and the produce fresh. Lots of variety. Nice wide aisles.

Much easier to shop here with online as I find it difficult to find things like nappy pins in the sewing aisle.

The staff are nice, it's not too cramped for a smaller countdown which I like and it's not as busy as the other two in town

Lovely new shop still looking for the South African produce in the International section.

It's tidy and a basic sheltered mall. Not much there. But all shops are a close walk around town.

I sometimes shop here and ive had no issues..very good staff and service
