It's a nice and relaxing market. You can buy various handmade accessories. However, there was almost no food, but I could eat delicious Japanese Okonomiyaki.

One of the best Saturday markets in this area. Can find original 🎁 gifts for any ages. Starting with hand made silver jewellery 💍 NZ arts and crafts inspired by the lovely NZ nature, real hand made knitting 🧣🧤🧦,Candles 🕯,Wooden Toys🧸🪵....and finish with unique bouquets 💐
Fresh veggies with nice taste 🥒🍅🥑🥬🧄, Free Range eggs 🥚 ,Honey 🍯, Home-baked authentic Sourdough Bread 🍞 and Pies 🥧 and Migrogreen Superfood. Very friendly atmosphere for chatting and shopping.

Loved browsing the delightful & colourful tables. The folks are chatty, friendly and encouraged bargain hunting.
Reminder: Cash Only. Disappointing.

Small farmers market. Can buy good Honey and Avocados from upnorth at best price. Sweetest plums and Figs of the season direct from Kaukapakapa farmers also highlight of this market. Few veggie stalls and food stalls also there

This little market always has something I want to buy. Great veges...especially from the man who sells yummy tomatoes. Lovely gifts and crafts, paintings. Interesting old curios and niknaks. Much of the market is indoors so good on a wet day. Worth a visit if you're nearby. Hospice shop and cafes nearby too.

Love this market!!! Breads / spray free avocados and vegetables / honey / living sprouts / eggs / vegetable and flower plants and various fruits in season.
Wonderful freshness and incredibly good prices!!!

Awesome market any time of year - every Saturday morning. I stop by two or three times a year while travelling - always enjoy the community and fellowship.
The consist range of outlets/stalls/stands are supplanted by an extensive range and great variety of similar and different products. Fresh produce, eggs, plants of various types; original art, and prints, DVDs and so much more. Fresh baking is always a treat. The bacon sandwich is decadent - and you can buy the bacon (fresh, wet) to make your own at home. Some would say 'farmers market' plus heaps more.
The historic village hall is always abuzz with art, books of all descriptions and so much more. At the Northern end of the extensive market strip is the historic library and park - welcoming strollets/walkers young and not-so-young... a touch of country.

On a Saturday morning while on the job run me and my partner would buy us a bacon & egg sandwich for breakfast. Absolutely yum :) I would highly recommend you try one . They also have affordable fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs around as well it's worth checking it out, you may walk away with a bargain

You can buy all sorts of things at the Silverdale Market. It has been going for many years. Great baking, breads, produce, honey, eggs & other delicious food. Water filter parts, handmade animal beds, crystals, books etc. A great market to visit on a Saturday morning.

Interesting mix of crafts, produce and the usual second hand stalls. Not very big so doesn't take long. All the other shops are open including the outlet stores

We had an hour to fill in on a Sunday morning before meeting friends. We wandered down the old Silverdale main street hoping to find the Bendon shop open. Luckily it was and such lovely ladies there. This has always been a great outlet for Bendon. Not much else open as I think most shops are open on Saturdays and the Market stalls are there then too.
