Always love visiting this place for the best FRESH RAWFISH ever!! Please don’t change I make the extra effort in travelling to get my fix and 3rd time now absolutely delicious. Can I suggest a large serving 😅

The best fish and chips shop in South Auckland or probably whole of New Zealand prove me wrong. Lovely staff and always charged the right price. Their fish is very tasty considering the fact is it battered with herbs and most of the time the temperature is right customer here over 10 years orders are ready quickly go for the crew pack the best value for money :-)

Mean raw fish, good service, fried bread average, batter always thick and oily🤢 overall pleased with our kai, just know for next time not to get battered stuff😊😊

Super fast delivery. This is the first meal Ive eaten this year due to cancer I cant hold food down. The kina went down a treat it was fresh. Highly recommend.

Recommend Takanini Fish Mart. First time I had been back there since the lockdown. Brought some kina (nice & creamy) & the team there gave some freshly made fried bread! Totally winning!

Lots of seafood varieties. They takeaways are okay though they probably need to change their oil regularly.

I have to say...This has to be one of the best fish and chips I have eaten. Even compared to many of the beach town ones (close second is the davenport fish and chips! The batter is unique, crunchy and just thick enough. The fish portions are more than ample, served with freshish lemon. The fries are usually good. Although the kumara fries are substantially better, if you get a good batch. In saying they can be a hit and miss. They have an 'A' food safety rating and cook in vegetable oil. As far as I'm aware, there is no pork on the menu. 10/10 would recommend.

Doesn't look 5 star but some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Really good size snapper fillet too.

Still the best spot for fresh fish and takeaways in South Auckland, in my opinion. Crumbed terakihi pieces did not disappoint, and chips were crisp and tasty also.

We have ordered here thrice now after my mums friend recommended it. We LOVE it. Always get the chips and battered snapper. Great portions and I think good price considering what you're getting. Can't wait to buy one of those crayfish though!!! Great service too.

My place to go now for fresh seafood gravings and always order fried bread there too yum yum however kina didnt taste like kinas from another place but it was the same brand🤔

5 outta 5, food is excellent quality, service is great and prices are very much reasonable. Not the best place to sit and eat but my family and I always takeaway the food so that isn't an issue. Always happy to come back.

This Fish Shop provides the freshest Fish around. The stock is always fresh and immaculately presented. Customer is service is world class and the staff are great to deal with. The takeaway section offers great tasting fish and chips. This fishery is world class and way better than other fish shops such as Oceanz. The prices are also reasonable and not expensive. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful kai Moana raw or cooked

Beautifully cooked fresh fish and chips. I ordered the snapper deal one. Everything was nicely seasoned and piping hot. Yummy. I'll be back again and I highly recommend that everyone tries it.

Really like the fish and chips. Unfortunately the person whom took my phone order didn't actually enter it on their system. So when i went to pick up my order, it obviously wasn't there. I have to give benefit of the doubt as they were pretty busy.

Display cabinets are always full and nicely presented - clean premises too (no fishy odours that are typically associated with fish shops). Their takeaways are lovely too!

Highly recommended for fresh quality seafood. The service was perfect and will definatly order again. I had a beautiful spread of seafood for Mothers Day. Thank you

Fish n chips are brilliant, best mussels around

Their $3 one scoop of chips is very small. 1.5 scoops =$5 and that fed my 2 adults, 11 and 8 year old girls. There was no left overs.

When I was waiting to be served, people just walked in pushed ahead of the line. Despite this, the guy behind the counter knew the order of which people came in and served accordingly. Good service, fresh paua👍

I always love eating fish n chips n raw fish from here but yesterday after eating I felt sick. This was my only meal of the day and vomited the whole thing out.

Found the battered fish and seafood too greasy was looking forward to my meal but was disappointed.

Fish is lovely, the shop is very clean, staff are helpful and friendly, and the takeaway place means you can sit and eat your fish onsite if you wish.

Only fish shop that sells fish that when you remove all the batter you still have fish at least 5inches long and about 1inch thick... and it is still fresh... so give it a try...
