Staff are lovely and helpful. Feel bad for the security guards dealing with the anti mask idiots though. Store is great, customers not so much.

This place is small, but I could find everything I needed there. Prices were on-par with other Countdown stores. Parking was easy too. 👍

Not a bad shop. Do feel it could do with a re vamp. Stocks most of the grocery items you need

I used to work here. Lovely friendly people. It's a very small supermarket but makes up for the size with smelling faces.

A small store but has most things. A little hard to get into carpark in busy traffic.

Handy local grocery store. Unfortunately no competition, don't carry stock or specials of any other Tauranga Countdown. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS, 50% of the time they are wrong.

I just turned up at 8:50pm for a bottle of milk and the front door was locked! Its a small store that doesn't have the range that the bigger stores do, but easier to find the common items and usually very handy for the local community.

Plenty of parking, great place to shop. Everything I needed an the staff were great. Fresh veges, fresh meats in the deli an no waiting to be served. Cool Countdown

nice and little place to get everything I need

Well, I live close by and its a great convenience store to pick up things on the way home if it's basics plus. Doesnt have a bakery but you can get cooked chicken, lettuce, tomato & breads for a quick dinner. Also wine, though good quality reds are very much lacking.

Very very small countdown store, but great for locals to grab essentials. Friendly staff. No deli, bakery etc, but they get things delivered from other stores. Don't expect a wide variety, but if you basic necessities or want junk food essentials, it will definitely meet your needs.

The smallest and oldest Countdown in Tauranga. Doesn't have the variety like the larger stores but is handy and not so busy.

Small supermarket used by locals. Close to Greerton shops and race course and school's Good parking. Not as well stocked as the bigger supermarkets but still absolutely fine. Staff are cheerful and friendly

Extremely friendly staff, I have never been greeted so many times... very refreshing to feel welcomed!

I shop regularly here because it's within walking distance and has the main CD specials etc. But the main thing is the friendly and helpful store and checkout staff. They make such a difference. I don't like the big Fraser Cove CD since the renovations and I refuse to use the self service automated checkouts. Your staff are your biggest asset.

Feels more like a four square than part of the countdown supermarket chain...bit of a tidy up around the back and carpark wouldn't go a miss to make it feel a bit less that it wasnt in an episode of The Walking Dead....

Real convenient, great selection of food, beverages, household stuff and daily specials too. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A great place to shop, 9/10👍

Well set out heaps of space to keep your distance from others during covid

Has all the essentials, and then a bit. Easy parking. Old & small store but the small size also makes it a quick stop to get a few yummy treats on the way to dinner at someone's home

Small supermarket can get what you need. They have a quiet hour for shopping for people affected by noise. Efficient checkout services.

Staff were nice a smaller shop with no toilet or hand washing facilities till aftere the checkouts I had to leave the shop drive 4 blocked to the public toilet with no water or sanitation facilities till I was thru the check out not a very hygienic situation I will be looking elsewhere next time

I don't like big super markets because I can never find what I am looking for. Hence I often pop in to countdown greerton because I know the layout very well and I like the friendlyness of the staff Plus I like to support my local businesses and help them to Stay Afloat in the face of stiff competition from the big boys

Good prices. Excellent store layout. Love it how they stock some specialty meats (like beef cheek). Well stocked and good parking

Smallest one in Tauranga, but you can still find the basic necessities. Parking is ample, with on and off-street spots. Be prepared to have a bit of a wait to get back on Cameron Rd. during rush hour.

I use Greerton countdown all the time. It may not have the range of a larger store but makes up for it with awesome staff.

Parking is never an issue but if you go during peak hour traffic can sometimes be a mission getting out

Its a smaller countdown, little bit run down however the staff are absolutely lovely
