L.Awesome selection of products. Found Outward Bound cereal in plentiful supply. Can no longer get in Te Kuiti stores. Friendly checkout staff.

R.Love this place. Lots of space to move around in. Today I bought lots of nuts and seeds and always fresh. Great produce and great prices. The best thing is the huge spacious car park no worries about being hit when I'm backing out. Just an awesome experience.
K.Why oh why did I go to countdown? Yes more choice than my regular supermarket but blooming expensive! Plus staff not packing bags,anymore how is one person supposed to empty the trolley and pack shopping check out chick was not helpful at all will be going back to my regular supermarket from now on

S.I love the online shopping. Staff are always so friendly.
S.Over priced and staff seem limited by what they can order for you if they don't have it on the shelf. I needed a Decaf coffee in a brand they stock (Jeds) and was told they couldn't get it and wouldn't try even (the latter surprised me the most). Their head office should think outside the box a bit more but this is NZ and this branch in Te Awamutu probably has a clientele with little expectation of what a market can and should do for its customers. It's a beautifully designed store with nice roomy aisles and lots of options but based on my experience I will drive a mile more to Pac and Save which might not seem as fancy but its clean and modern and has everything the Countdown, usually cheaper and another plus, a much bigger and easier parking lot.
N.Te Awamutu Countdown is always what you want it to be; well stocked, a great range of products and produce and friendly staff.

W.The only issue I have with Countdown Te Awamutu, there's never enough checkouts open.
