Well stocked and clean. Helpful staff. It would be helpful to visitors if the notices telling you what is in each isle were at both ends not just at the front. I swear I walked several extra kms searching for what I wanted. Most supermarkets that I have been to have the information at both ends of the isle.

Nice shop. Could not use our own bags. Albeit we would have packed them ourselves!! Had to take groceries out to the vehicle and then remove them from trolleys ..... What is the difference?? Getting beyond a joke.

Busy place at this time of year. But well stocked in some areas and rest lack but that mainly due to how busy it is. Staff friendly and help then another day different staff were grumpy and complete opposite.

Good range of products and good quality. There is no place to queue for the checkouts save the aisle which makes it very cramped very quickly. It is very had to shop at all when it is busy. The store isn't really large enough to fill its need.

An amazing and delightful experience. From the frozen peas to the sliced white bread, an adventure around every corner. Look out for the milk section! That's a highlight that you just can't miss out on.

Always pretty busy. Sometimes crowded... Plenty of close vehicle parking spaces (sometimes includes some rather large rigs/trailers). Good Covid-aware safety in place. The New World store has been my go-to place for a multitude of food supplies on my jaunts/visits/holidays in or near Turangi. Fresh fish, including limited shellfish, fresh fruits and vegetables and a great limited selection of fresh-baked cakes, slices, bread and buns. Phenomenal wine and beer selection also at reasonable prices. The store has mostly a busy, sometimes hectic, hum/busyness. Nice, sometimes eclectic, background music. Team members are never harried - always pleasant and helpful. Self serve counters also available.

Frustrating store in the summer time. Limited selection. They advertise specials but the shelves are empty. In fact the store looked depleted or is it just poor stock management. You can’t sell what you don’t have and invariably the shelf is empty. Today I had to resort to going to the supermarket over the road which is always well stocked. It’s getting to the stage that I shop in my home town before coming to Turangi. Their fresh produce is expensive as well.

very friendly accommodating staff especially the check out staff always have a smile something nice to say and genuine greetings of welcome, the staff out in the aisle are very helpful, the nicest young people who work after school are patient and respectful, we have had the happiest (even when it snows)trolley staff stopping to take your trolley even help to unload your groceries... Turangi has the coolest New World Staff in the Country.

Very expensive! I compared it to the New World near where I live, Kapiti, and there were some huge differences. It is handy though. The parking area is a bit tight. If you wanted a quick shop it may not happen.
