A better set up store than the Queen Street branch in Upper Hutt. Customer service is good and the butchery is the best in Upper Hutt with excellent cuts and top grade meat quality.

Countdown Maidstone is most definitely my favourite supermarket, love the variety of products on offer. Love the rewards vouchers which are an extra bonus

I just want to say how fantastic the team are here. I have been doing online shopping since last year and the online staff and staff at service desk are always so nice and helpful. I am also very grateful to them during the lockdowns. Thank You so very much

Good stock options but more expensive than other supermarkets. Fruit is fresh and healthful with no noticeable bruising unlike other stores. A smaller supermarket than some with less selection. Staff are very helpful and well informed about their merchandise.

Convenient and shorter queues than other stores. A little more expensive but perhaps a better range of goods AND the best thing is they don't have Pams!!! 😆 The infestation of Pams at PakNSave is making me shop at Countdown more and more often to find the original things I need and want. The occasional good special. Plenty of parking.

Great place, fast ,friendly knowledgeable staff. Good range of Fresh produce ,meat and seafood. You can buy hot food and really good sandwiches here too which is a bonus. My regular place for groceries.

This is such an amazing supermarket. There was hardly anyone there, so we had plenty of parking space and plenty of space in the store. They sell everything you could possibly want to eat and their service was fast.

Parking is horrendous due to the one-way system and narrow parks, theres no self-service, but very convenient if you're on-foot or walking from the train station. Seems to lack the same selection as it's big brother Countdown has 1km away, but always bright and clean.
