G.Shop inventory and variety of brands have been reduced in the past few years. Pricing and discounting is often misleading to interpret. You will need to check costs carefully for good buys. The staff are excellent and always helpful. During Covid-19 the store management and level of service has been exceptional meeting the needs of the local community
S. a. N. H.Staff are lovely but often place is a jungle with boxes and trolleys everywhere. Not very well stocked and the other countdown 2 minutes away has more variety
s.Since Covid has struck, the staff have been very empathetic and sympathetic to customers needs and feelings. They clean and sanitize and have great plans in place. They keep the shelves are kept stocked as well as can be. Well laid out supermarket floor plan. Nice and knowledgeable staff, good wide choice of fresh produce and meat. My favourite place to shop for groceries.
L. F. K.In all honesty I would only ever shop at New World or PaknSave... However since moving to Upper Hutt... I'm really counting on countdown for some some wicked deals .. Maidstone I go to... And the staff sooo lovely. 😻
