Level 4. Fast moving queue. Security guard was good at his job of checking people had their masks on. He also let elderly people in ahead of people in 5he queue, which was good. A lot of what I bought was cheaper than the other supermarket I go to.

Very typical PaknSave, well set out except for items that used to be in an area called continental items, now they're scattered all over the stores nationwide, which is a total pain as half the time the staff don't know where some things are. Generally the store is great with vaste variety and would cover just about anything most people would want. Plenty of parking and in an easy to find location.

Definitely the best fruit and vegetables and meat in Upper Hutt. The specials are great but as there are only 2 in our household I would prefer single specials rather than multibuys

My favourite local supermarket with Stickman and his chick adverts. It's definitely the cheapest supermarket in Upper Hutt. This Paknsave in Upper Hutt has the best largest butcher department with a huge selection of quality meats cuts. It's sea food area is also very good and has fishing bait.

Seem well organised and stocked (the obvious short supply items like flour, cleaning products notwithstanding) during my first level 4 visit. On a Monday at 11 the total time car to car was 45 minutes or so. If you have to take your kids, don't let them run amok and touch everything.

Not enough staff serving after 8pm last night I had to do self service with annoying staff login prompts while scanning the items. The lady at self checkout did real terrible job no greetings or conversation.I tried to ask if there's any issue with console she completed staff login and just walked away never had such a bad experience here before. Hope someone teach her some customer serving skills

Sometimes stock of various items is sketchy and often not enough staff at checkout, although all supermarkets are the same in this respect, and prices have definitely risen, despite quality issues with fresh produce. New Zealand deserves better from the duopoly but that would need the so-called Labour Govt to behave like an actual people's servant, as if....

Large, very bang for your buck supermarket for all your essential needs. Meat and fruit are very cheap. Good central location quite wide selection of other goods. Has selfcheck outside and Express checkouts along with self-shopping scanners.

Unfortunately a bad experience buying fruit at Upper Hutt PaknSave Brought a Watermelon from there and looking forward to eating it. A very bad outcome indeed. The watermelon inside was very rotten and looks disgusting. I would choose carefully what you pick and choose off the shelf here and other stores as well I emailed a complaint and received a great reply of either a refund or free watermelon and it was cut through the middle before taking. I was very happy with the customer service and result. I have taken my one star to a four star Thanks

Great prices and ranges. A few items I wished they stocked like macro organics or proper crisp potato crisps all in all I highly recommend for families. Self checkouts are handy too.

Store was tidy and we'll stocked checkout operator friendly but I was a little surprised that she did not pack into my reusable bag when I put it in the trolley ..there were no other customers in line waiting to be served in fact she closed her station while I was still packing to empty her rubbish bin.

I've been so impressed with the availability of the products especially the fruit n vege department always so fresh looking and well displayed..the staff have always been so friendly and accomadating making the supermarket shop a delight

I get frustrated that shopping after 6pm on a Friday night means a trip to another shop as a lot of shelves are empty and it's hard to find staff for help. If you can find staff usual answer is "waiting for orders" Really!!! Why not stock up

Best produce in the Greater Wellington region.....all the same stock as New World, but with dollars knocked off. Go here for good telegraph cucumbers ($3), juicy capsicums, and big ripe tomatoes.

As with most Pak & Save supermarkets the place is huge & the aisles are built for 2 way traffic, 3 @ a squeeze. Prices are usually the cheapest of any supermarket. Only 1 thing they could improve on:- Number of toilets, they only have 1! On a busy day, don't hold off going, there maybe a queue & the nearest public toilet is not near at all! A dental centre is next door about 170m away, but if it you get caught short in the weekend, you'll probably need to run even faster! Its a pity that no one has invented a realtime screen which predicts when the toilet will become vacant as well as a map showing nearby alternatives. My most recent experience with customer service desk was pretty good. I had lost my keys out of a pocket with a hole in it on my way 2 the toilet. No way I could drive to another toilet! They were pretty busy but got me 2 write my details on a piece of paper. About 30 min.s later I got a call & I was reunited with my precious keys, fortunately before I drove back to Churton park, about 33kms away! So not only is the customer service desk efficient, but at least 1 person, probably from Upper Hutt was thoughtful enough to pick up my keys & hand them in.

Generally my shopping experience at the Upper Hutt branch has always been pleasant and found all of your floor staff eager to help and yesterday I was not disapointed when I approached a yong lady at the customer service counter by the name of Mis Dipali with a query regarding one of your products, her pleasant personality and genuine smile never left her face the whole time while resolving my problem. While on the subject I would also like to give a "bouquet" to an other Indian yong lady who also happens to be working at the customer service counter but whose name Unfortunately I don't know.
