Always enjoy going to this supermarket. Very friendly staff and management, all produce is good and fresh. Nice range of alternative products for vegan or vegetarian. Meat products are an ideal size with matching prices. My personal opinion.

Sometimes the prices dont match and ive got reduced food to get home and eat it, then find out its expired so ALWAYS check your dates when buying from there. The checkout staff are the coolest!

Is a small store & don't have everything there, but do find it good. It does have a reasonable selection & sells alcohol lol. The township it is in is a lovely small place, with a really nice vibe in the country.

Closest super market (if you can call that) near me. It feels more like a giant dairy than a super market. Some of their stuff can be cheaper than the big super markets but overall I feel they are more expensive. They are very small thats why I feel it's more like a dairy than a super market but they do have everything you need. Might not have the exact ones you want but its good if you don't want to drive for ages

Not to over crowded, especially good when you are in a hurry, has quite a wide range and variety of goods to choose from, found it so much better than bigger supermarkets, we got served straight away, very friendly staff, would always go there again, cheers FreshChoice

I accidentally dropped a glass bottle of cordial, at the worst time to do so, lockdown period. The Staff were so busy. They could have responded with understandable frustration, but not even a hint. The graciousness of the young gentleman who mopped it up, was exemplary. At this time, you are really heroes in our Nation, working day and night under this type of pressure, but handling it, and handling it excellently.Just wanted to say thank you, we appreciate you.

Mostly have what I want, their bakery division is poor. Check out staff often elsewhere doing other jobs when it is quiet but when they see you quickly come back and are efficient and friendly 5% discount for Gold Card holders is a wonderful incentive to shop there.

I have done some shopping at waimauku 4 times in the past 3 weeks and every time I have my bags but the checkout New world instead. The staff have changed a lot and I have found only 1 friendly older lady there, the other staff are not friendly or helpful.

FreshChoice do not by design carry the same extent of stock as the larger chains but have most bases covered. Reliable destination to pick up essentials. I understand they have a generator so can be relied upon to be open even during those power cuts!

Medium size Rural Supermarket spotlessly clean ,a very wide range of products well displayed without shelf packers carts although vegetable section small but brilliant in freshness Able to find traditional products which are unobtainable in Supermarkets in Birkenhead,Northcote and Glenfield.The big 2. As a Bonus Staff had a smile ! 50 k from home but will be back PS some of their prices were better as well

FreshChoice is very much like other supermarkets but as it is situated in Waimauku, which is quite a way from town, I was pleasantly surprised to find prices and a range of goods similar to those you'd expect to find at a large city store.

This store is a surprise. The entrance to the store belies what is to come. At first it appeared as if it could be a bit down market, but once inside it opens up to a very well stocked shop full of interesting things. Especially the wine department which is a store within a store. So many varieties of beautique canned beers. A visit here can be quite an experience. Waimauka is such a cute little township too.
