Very large well stocked shop. Excellent variety. Big area for parking. Fruit and veges plus bakery looked fresh and enticing. Good range of fresh proteins and large grocery selection.

The male at the self checkout helping us made our experience 100 times better, nice and funny couldn’t of asked for better service. He let me use the bathroom as I was desperate along with my friend and unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by I assume his manager screaming in front of many customers about him letting us use the bathroom. With covid and all I understand her hesitation but we had explained to the guy we were desperate and the manger/ladies reaction was horrific - you should not treat your staff like that. Especially the staff who are there working hard and putting smiles on people’s faces. Wish we got the name of the guy but he was a legend. We were there at about midday on Saturday for reference I hope the bosses read this and give him a pay rise.

A supermarket is a supermarket and it is only as good as the people that work there. Often out of stock of items... I will walk in for six items that I know they have, and walk out with three. Especially items on special where the shelves are not monitored, and you can go two or three days without getting what you want... because it's already sold out. Too often I have got to a checkout and scanned an item, to find it is at full price, while on the shelf it is marked as on special. A regular occurrence in the last 4 years that I have been shopping at this particular supermarket. Generally everything seems to be kept clean and new looking, but this is not difficult when items keep getting moved around from place to place... go to lay your hands on something and it's moved to a different section.

plastic bags run out near washed loose potatoes, and none at all on the royal gala apples side, a great pallet in the beer chiller so you could not get your trolley round, and only one checkout operating. A pity because it is a nice big store but suffers due attention to small details.

What you'd expect. However, some of the store supervisors need to work on their attitude. Rather rude and surly. By way of contrast the check out operators were very helpful.

This countdown has a very modern setup, with a great selection of grocery items. Whether party supplies, or filling the cupboards for the week, this countdown has you covered. I found their store layout, and modern freezers made things very easy to find. The only let down was the checkout man I went through. For five items, he took 5 minutes to get them on the computer screen. Then proceeded to muck up my change ($4 change from a $20 note...) All in all a solid supermarket.
