It’s not the biggest Countdown but it now has an accessible shopping trolley so I can go shopping with my daughter who has mobility challenges.

One of the larger Countdown supermarkets in the Wellington region. Never too busy which offers peace of mind when needing to go for a quick run down for last minute groceries.

Friendly and welcoming staff, pick up for click and collect orders easy with designated car parks.

Queued to enter with social distancing strictly observed. Well behaved shoppers and very pleasant staff. Usual good range of groceries with well priced items and specials. Also has the best car park among local supermarkets.

Good parking, wide selection of Countdown range. Easy, neighbourhood shopping.

Some products are missing but very handy

One of the BEST countdown .perfectly looked after vegetables , variety of the store,cleanliness .I loved spend time here and actually I enjoyed going every single section.checkout staff can be a bit more attention as we may need them sometime .but overall I did really enjoy my shopping here.

Great store, location, friendly staff. We like going here because it's not so crowded. The only qualms I have is convenience items are on the opposite side of the supermarket. I'm not one to fall for the yum yums as you walk in the door so I usually bolt for milk, bread etc immediately.

I've got to say that until they renovated last year, I would actively avoid Countdown. Since the renovation however, not only does the store look better, but they seem to have reinvigorated the entire feel. For instance, I will often find better produce here than at some other supermarkets. They will often have the products available here that we can not find at other places as well. It would be great if they could increase staff to ensure faster check-out, but one thing at a time.

Plenty of parking, lots of variety of groceries, fresh produce, organic and health products, and wide aisles so you're not bumping into people, and reasonable prices too.

On my first visit today, there was ample parking; plenty of choice with full shelves and a friendly cashier.

Great to see they have soft plastic recycling bin at the entrance.

Pretty big and with a wide range to choose from. If I have a car I like to go here. Can usually find most of what I want here. If living in Kelburn or Northland I would advise making the drive here rather than Karori Countdown. There is a wider range of products to choose from.

Experienced very helpful service when I lost my card in the middle of checkout. I think it was Rashu who took my trolley to the cold store while I went home to get an alternative card. All worked out well in the end - I found the card later on. Thank you

Unexpectedly lovely. Friendly staff, good selection of foodstuffs. Good situation, Z petrol next door, has a café, and a hair stylist in the same building.

Good for a small supermarket, and staff are very helpful. With their fresh bakery was better tho - what they make is great but quite limited.

The store was demolished and rebuilt within the last few years and is now a clean, modern supermarket, well stocked, and plenty of parking. There's a pharmacy, hairdresser and coffee shop on site too.

Good size store - has all the key products. Staff friendly and helpful too. Plenty of parking space and good cafe nextdoor.

Despite being rebuilt from a funny old place, it still seems to be a funny new place as supermarkets go. Their deals don't exactly set the world on fire, their meat is shipped in rather than prepared on-site so don't give an impression of freshness. Their fruit and vege is uninspiring, and the staff are a bit "meh". On the plus side, it is very accessible for the Crofton Downs community.

Medium sized but generally well stocked supermarket. Avocados are always small and disappointing though unfortunately.

As far as super markets go, it's the best in the area. Shelves well stocked with a good choice. Staff friendly 99% of the time. Always accommodating with queries.

In terms of service and the staff, there's a good vibe and atmosphere in this store. Relatively good product range and plenty of car parking too.

Love this place! Staff is super friendly. Only niggle is the meagre non-food section. Don't expect a good range of kitchen things like in other supermarkets.

What has happened to the deli and fresh fish counters? Not everything needs to come in plastic.

Can't beat 10 Chiabatta pocket buns for $5 or 6 pack Coke for $6 and of course there is always friendly staff and fruit for visiting kids, loving it.

Great supermarket! Very large store with a wide selection of products. This countdown also has a pharmacy and cafe outside, and a fuel pump nearby.

From the advertising, I arrived there believing there wouldn't be any "place I'd rather be". However, it turned out to be a purely functional experience of purchasing perishable and non-perishable goods.
