Small New world with a basic stock of the usual supermkt goods. Too small to service NZs largest suburb well. Located in a tired mall with minimal parking.

Couldn't find wasabi peas, was assisted by 2 young men Conor and Tom whilst they where on break. Helped me out straight away and where very funny too. Also great deli section with very friendly workers

Local, compact store, excellent for getting your weekly groceries, without having the long trek of the large supermarkets. New owner has changed around and opened up the aisles. Good variety.

A compact supermarket with a community feel - it's clear that the owners put 100% into the supermarket, and their staff are always so friendly and offering to help even if not asked. Decent gluten free items in stock too.

Strange having New World and Countdown right beside each other. New World obviously a bit pricer but never seem to fail to provide quality service.

I want to be able to shop at New World as their new rewards program with AirNZ is fantastic. however this is the smallest most cramped NW there is. The aisles are only wide enough for trolleys to just get past each other. You can't loiter to decide what you want as you're always in someone's way. The deli is great tho, always so fresh and good quality

The New World in Karori is quite a small one and is unable to carry all the stock that some people expect BUT its small size means that visits can be short, and the staff are always on hand to direct you to things that are tucked away where you can't find them. The owner/manager is very good at supporting things in the community, and deserves your custom.
