Excellent Service Have always enjoyed shopping at NW Newlands. We have always received great service by the staff, most recently by Prashila. She is always very polite and helpful and has a great smile. Keep up the great work.

Very well maintained store. The fish and meat always look very fresh. I am now finding the Click and Collect option excellent - given concerns about shopping in-store since Delta established in New Zealand.

A smaller layout New World supermarket on way to Newlands. The fresh food and deli area are easy to use with a good selection of specialist goods. The staff are friendly very helpful especially at the tills

This is my local NW and I think it's pretty cool. The staff are helpful and friendly. The produce is mostly good and the layout is easy to navigate. Parking is plentiful and if you want to grab a coffee before you start shopping you can. The Gelato stand is good for keeping the kids quiet while you're getting stuff done. They were really efficient during lockdown and kept things running smoothly. Newlands is a awesome little hub and NW is like the meet and greet place for the whole community.

For a small supermarket it actually has everything you're looking for and what surprised me is it was cheaper than going to countdown!

Excellent staff except for a middle-aged lady in charge of cash counters during evening shifts. She makes customers feel like they are wasting her time being there. Hope the center owner understands that she might be driving up sales efficiency numbers up during her shift but at the cost of some unhappy customers.

Great local New World, great range of craft bear. Has a great product finder kiosk to help you find what you're after.

Great coffee. Reasonably priced. Good incentives. Very obliging. They do not charge extra for extras. I wish there was a dedicated barista though, some newbie novices who may not be that experienced.

Very friendly team when I didn't have enough to pay for my shopping a nice young blonde lady paid the extra for me or I wouldn't of had a proper spaghetti bolanaise so I was very thankful 👍😁

Staff are always really friendly and helpful.

A member of staff by the the name of Josh (from the cold shelf) was extremely helpful when I came to shop. I have specific diet requirements and he was able to direct me to everything i wanted. I was really grateful for the help and hospitality as I was unsure if new world had products i could eat. I rate the service, would shop again.

This is the only supermarket in Newlands and is relatively new. They have a good range of goods (they have pretty much everything you would expect for a medium sized supermarket) at typical New World prices. There is plenty of parking next to and below the supermarket. Locally owned and operated, the management take pride in the presentation of their facility and the quality of their staff (which is good).

Best kept secret. Great supermarket, big enough to stock all the good brands, small enough to have helpful engaged staff. Hi five New World.

Great shop, friendly staff, quite a handy location rather than having to go to Johnsonville. Always available parking. Just very convenient store. Then if you want takeaway again handy just walk out and take a pick few choices. Hope this review helps

A nice tidy New world. This Newlands New world is quite nicely laid out and has all the goods you would expect a New world to have. My only issue is that they were out of my favorite yogurt but that's neither here nor there. Otherwise it's clean, enough room in the isles and is fully stocked.

It's a great local Supermarket very tidy with some really good produce unfortunately they did not have what I was after (Kikkoman Sweet Chilli Sauce with Ginger and Soy ) they usually have this in stock alas not today and no other supermarkets carry it at all.

Great community supermarket. Most products that we like are available, have to go elsewhere for just a few things. Good avocado stocks (size and amount) for a supermarket.

The fresh bread is the best of the supermarkets in the area. Really unimpressed today that a staff memberthat clearly and obviously had cold / flu symptoms was on checkout. They used hand sanitizer after each time they sneezed, which was three times while they were serving me. During a global pandemic this is exceptionally poor form, and makes me wonder if the standards are even lower for behind the scenes staff such as bakers.

Great range, competitive price. Situated in a nice residential complex hub. Good parking around. Lot of takeaway restaurants around in the hub.

This is my regular convenience store. Always well stocked. Always predictable and sometimes a bargain on the shelf. I had a return recently and it was dealt with hassle free. Thanks!

I love the meat department and especially how they display and take special care of the fruit and vegetable produce. Saving all produce from bruising. Great care and customer care. I was asked if I needed a basket as I held my two items in my hand. I didn't need one but how thoughtful. I couldnt find something and staff got help and continued to be with me while Another member showed me the item. The first staff member was also finding out where such an item was stored. Great way to.learn about the stock in store.thankyou New World Newlands. Wellington 😃

Shop there everyday so yeah some staff are good some are not as you can find it everywhere.

Under cover parking is great. Had all the groceries i needed to feed my family. Bakery has nice breads and pastries. Staff were friendly.

Maps thought I visited here a week ago, however I only drove past, but seeing that I have shopped there a number of times my review follows:- my experience with New Worlds throughout NZ has been good, compared to many supermarkets they are:- friendlier, cleaner, food is better quality, if a little bit pricier. Newlands is no exception AND they have an underground carpark. Great on a rainy day or if the overground is full. Just for the record Thorndon & the 1 next 2 Oriental bay does as well.

New World usually has everything I need to buy for my home. With a reasonable price, tidy environment and friendly staff, they offer a good customer service, quality products, fresh ingredients.

Our first Kiwi supermarket experience well layed out very good selection of food staff at the tolls were very helpful and efficient really nice atmosphere

With the change in owners, range of products are smaller. We now have to go into the big city New World or Moore Wilsons. New cafe is good, one of the baristas there makes a really good coffee, others are so so.

Just a big thanks to the friendly staff who go that extra mile!

Well laid out, a nice supermarket.

The choice of vegetables in particular but also a lot of other products is not as good as in New World Khandalla ... if I have to choose between the two I will always choose the latter .

Ample parking, both open and covered, beautifully laid out aisles, clean and well kept and wide variety of products on the shelves. The staff and great too!

Fantastic supermarket; great range considering its size, loads of parking, excellent beer selection, and brilliant staff make this an easy choice as my go-to supermarket.

Some stuff is a bit pricy and the vegetarian/vegan sausages and burger could be better displayed and organized, and actually have all the prices for it.. other than that it's good.

One of the few New Worlds that stock healthy dog treats by weight!

Handy, produce expiration dates need checking more often, perhaps not the turnover needed to keep everything fresh, but incredibly supportive of our community and why we keep going back.
