It’s great to have a Supermarket right in the middle of Wellington CBD, a lot of parking so there is no problem finding a park. Friendly and helpful staff working there. The prices seem a bit more expensive than other new worlds around Wellington. But this new world has a lot great better selection of beers and wine selection.

This shop has a wonderful selection of produce. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and the meat section is amazing. Whatever you need you will find it here.

A well laid out and spacious supermarket with a wide range of products for a weekly shop. Very relaxing atmosphere so I really enjoy slowly just doing a peaceful shop. Never experienced crowds Go and experience a weekly shop enjoy your experience with an interesting well thought out product mix. In spacious aisles

Great bakery selection. But my pie was cold in the middle. Is that safe to serve like warm food when it has been sitting in a cabinet, what about the temperature ‘danger zone’. i don’t know how it works this is not my speciality. But I was hoping for a nice hot pie when I got it from the heated cabinet, but right cold in the middle and not enjoyable. For $5.50 i was expecting a nice good delicious pie. Oh well. Good place to buy groceries but don’t buy pies if you want them to be enjoyable. But from somewhere else. But for groceries, in the middle of town this place is pretty dang good!

Is this a supermarket or a premium shopping mall? Very impressive grocery hub with a huge range of well organised products. The tile floors were incredibly clean and something I was fixated by. The friendly, agreeable staff made the experience here supreme.

Another favorite NW store of mine. It has quite a complete variety of items you need for day-to-day basis. Veggies, meat, poultry, seafood, fruits and more. I also enjoy their deli and selection of ready to eat food here, with abundant sushi and sandwiches. I also love their samosas and the pastries as well as sourdough and more choices of freshly made bread and pastries. They have some reduced price items and if I am not mistaken, some baked food are 50% off when it comes to the closing time. I don’t know whether it’s always like that but when I shopped a bit late before they closed, I got those deals. The staff is helpful, the parking lot is spacious, its location is also very startegic and it is very friendly for persons with disabilities.

Typical clean uncluttered shopping experience of all New Worlds. Good quality grocery and other items. Covid restrictions - masks, scanning. All in the middle of the City. Plenty of parking

You will find all the verity of food. The bakery items are really good. They have gluten free and organic sections and staff is very helpful

Omg, the choc dipped strawberries in the small cakes cabinets, they must inject these with a special liquor, cause I can't stop eating them! Lol Yummy salads, staff smile & are helpful, cake supervisor Indian guy, super helpful & friendly when placing an order. Lots of selection, well done :)

New world Wellington is the cleanest Supmrkt I've ever been in. It was just lovely, so clean and tidy. All of the departments had amazing food and was so fresh. I'm going to make it my regular.

This is possibly one of the better New Worlds I have ever visited Even sells fresh juice as well as fresh tea and coffee. Clean, classy, good variety and well spread out allows for a amazing new world shopping experience. Also very central so if your in the mood/ area tis always good to pop in and have a good look around. Cannot beat this New World Wellington City‼‼‼‼‼

Bought an almond croissant. The quality exceeded far beyond any French bakery. The more I consumed the croissant the happier I became which leads me to say "should we give almond croissants more rights and a second chance?"

These five star is for a young lady cashier (Emma L) who was very helpful, thorough and went over and beyond my expectations, who went as far as to calculate a couple of items using her mobile phone to make sure I stayed within $100 WINZ card limit. I hope she reads this review as a token of my appreciation. The New World staff are always helpful and amazing. Thank you! :-)

Very spacious and huge variety of items. Fresh coffee, flowers and a lotto available in store. Plenty of hot food choices and bakery items too.

Great supermarket that has a large range of products. New cafe and ice Cream scoop shop (Inside Scoop) is really great, and serves Wooden Spoon ice cream - a local Wellington based Ice cream brand

Awesome layout, polite and helpful staff, a tad more expensive than other supermarkets, but it is worth the experience and quality unusual products with occasional discounts. The location is supercool for those living in backpackers nearby or having a walk in the city or near the waterfront.

I have never been in such a beautiful supermarket. Only came in for a couple things but walked down every aisle enjoying every single shelf. The many many workers that are there to do that job is well worth it.

Overpriced and never has essential products, namely sweet navel raro and spicy coat n cook. The bakery is the only thing keeping this review from heralding 0 stars. Edit: plus one star, coat n cook is back. And there was a single packet of sweet navel hidden at the back for me. I will regularly update this review to reflect the situation.

Love this new world but your security guard is extremely rude. Kills an other wise great shopping experience to get barked at then to walk in and see people holding hands in l3 people not keeping any distance and no one wiping down self service checkouts. First dumb visit I’ve ever had.

Extensive range in most items (except gluten free - the gf pasta options are ok, but the rest of the section is very disappointing) .. shelves are kept fully stocked, so very visually pleasing. Expensive though!

Female at Ice cream part just completely ignored us waiting to be served! Carried on cleaning containers knowingly see us in the mirror! We ended up walking off! It's a shame one person let's down the store for others!😡.

Everything you need is here. Fresh veggies and fruits will be the first section when you enter this store. Every single product comes with a variety of brands. Easy to get one out of many brands. Frozen food and dairy products are a lot. Fast checkout. Restrooms are at the end of cashiers. Lots of car park outside. This New World supermarket is located near the popular Museum Te Papa.

Possibly the most expensive New World in Wellington? Quite likely because of the excess of young staff, faffing about stocking and ‘tidying’ shelves. Shop here if you really need something/top up shop, but expect a hefty bill, doing your weekly shop here.

Favorite hangout for me. Big supermarket within walking distance from town. Best perk; they don't close early!! Also.. No one pays much attention but they have these TVs hanging at every corner playing retro MTVs. Really enlivens the place with interesting music appealing to their main target audience.. mid 30s to mid 50s. Love the classics from celine Dion and MJ. Can almost find every mid range grocery in this huge mall but for fancier crafty stuffs, its still best to visit Moore Wilson's.

My jaw literally dropped when I walked in. I thought I was dreaming because its like a movie set. It’s literally an OCD supermarket on steroids. I mean it doesn’t have everything, but it should definitely become a tourist spot.

Located close to Te Papa Museum the New world here has great produce and hot food section. It gives you an options having a quick food. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.

The new ice cream bar is a novel addition but how long will that last? I like the space of this NW it's light and bright the produce is fresh and the variety is awesome! Given the size though I would expect the self service area to offer more then it currently does. The deli stocks ally favorite things but the seafood section can be lackluster. The service here has always been good in my opinion and it's handy especially when there's an event across the road. Parking is generous and overall it's clean and tidy.

New World is my favorite place to go for my daily and weekly groceries. It has all the products I want and specially a section for International products. That's means that I can buy Dutch products and specially my Dutch Stroop Waffles . I really recommend this place for all your favorite needs.

In Level 2+ they made it a quietly smooth process. Very calm and organized, helped to make it a good trip to the supermarket.

Best supermarket in NZ so far. (I've been to a lot all over NZ) Clean, tidy and very well sorted! Huge range of hot food and a large range of delicatessen. I'm truly impressed!

Always a good place to find some time to get some lunch or dinner, especially if you're midway through a shift...work or otherwise.. Great selection of hot and cold foods plus a fairly decent delicatessen with cost in mind. Obviously missing some higher profile foods. Highly recommended

If I could live in a supermarket I would live here. This isn't some run of the mill supermarket. The fruit and vege section looks like the staff put more thought and care in presentation than what most supermarkets put into cleaning. The selection of baked food, cold salads, and hot food (please don't get me started on their pies), are to die for. These guys give many local cafes a run for their money. Only complaint - they need seating and better parking.

Just bought a punnet of their summer salad. It was absolutely delicious and super healthy. I ate it for breakfast but it would be just as good for any other meal. If you go early in the morning when all 8 plus freshly made, on the premises, deli salads are ready they present a veritable feast for the eyes. I bet you'd be spoilt for choice! As I was! Congratulations to the young girl who made them all in about an hour and a quarter.

Once again, its a new world so it automatically gets a 5 star but this one is unique. It's fascinating architectural design helps support the building and they always take great care of every customer.

This has to be one of the most amazing city supermarkets I've visited. Your usual wide range of fresh produce along with butchery departments. Along with your normal isles of packaged goods. The real amazing story is the Deli Department with value added fresh meat and poultry, along with the usual deli items of cold meats and a wide variety of salads. Also cooked hot food offered for immediate consumption, great for the park across the street, at e reasonable price. Then, where do I start, fresh baked goods.

Probably best deli of the mainstream supermarkets in Wellington region for consistent quality and flavour but can be a bit expensive compared to the competition , that said- imho it's 2nd only to wgtn institution: Moore Wilson's. One of the biggest New World supermarkets in New Zealand, this central Wellington supermarket has an incredible range of different products and brands. Parking is a bit limited, which is not surprising given the location. There are lots of check-outs, both self-checkouts and staffed. Prices are typical for an inner city supermarket (i.e. not cheap). This supermarket certainly has all you could possibly need in the way of grocery items.

Staff are always great and keen to help out, butchers have happily cut specialty meats to order. They’ve even ordered things in for us that they didn’t stock when we were looking for it. Very clean with a good layout. We actually enjoy shopping there and do so at least 4 or 5 times a week, both for work and personal.

This has to be the most impressive New World I have ever visited! Every shelf was fully stocked and faced perfectly, there was nothing low in stock. So beautifully clean and organised, I commend everyone working there. Thank you for the time and effort put in to achieve this!!

Quite a pricey place almost a convenience store but a nice environment for a small purchase at a time.

This specific new world in Wellington has a great location. It has an awesome variety of foods and within those good varieties are an amazing selection of brands.

Big store for your grocery needs when in the City. I love the pastries they sell near near the meat and dairies section, the ready meals and produce section. It's just across YHA and has ample parking space. If you can get one of those deal vouchers in some travel magazine pages, you can slash dollars off your final bill.

Good prices, wide variety. Quite a good deli section and all the brands you could want. Staff is quick and friendly,store is clean and appealing. Space feels quite wide and open, so it does not make you feel boxed in. Great prepared food section as well for those too lazy to cook.

My favourite grocery store. It has most of my household needs. I shop here twice a week and its always a pleasant experience. Staffs at the counter are really nice and friendly. Quality food and grocery items. Products are decently priced and there're always items on sale.

Bright, busy and active! Huge store with almost everything you may need. Efficient friendly staff, clean, and well-stocked. Higher prices balance reasonably against the central location and range of products. Parking is good, but road access into the carpark can be frustrating with the high traffic flow in the area - especially during the Sunday morning Harbourside Market hours across the road. I tend not to shop here often, with its higher prices, but know I'll always find what I need. (Feedback to the store: please shelve your loose leaf black tea with your bagged black tea! No-one will look for it where it is, until they've had to ask your staff... Great selection, all the same!)

My local supermarket for the last 9 years. Great selection of products and produce, friendly checkout staff, and really helpful when you can't find something. Covered car parks in the basement but not enough bicycle parking, in particular at busy times. Restrooms could do with a makeover. One of the few places that still plays Michael Jackson, otherwise would have been a 5 star review.

Iconic downtown large scale supermarket - always plenty of parking - best variety of products out of all the other city wide supermarkets - shelves always well stocked, great layout and easy to find goods with wide aisles- great meat/ fish section / huge cheese and dairy section / frozen goods amazing. Checkouts always efficient and I haven't experienced any long queues - only for self service even when there are empty checkout operator positions visible - staff always the best - very polite and friendly- efficient- even when late at night - always reliable for a late night dash when you really need something outside normal business hours in town

Lines are pretty short/move fast, shelves are well stocked. Everyone is nice, calm and keeping their 2M distances. Great work New World Chaffers Crew. NB: There are (sensible) limits on some items.

Great selection, and a fantastic bakery. We were there on opening but shelves were still being stocked which was a bit of a pain. Otherwise recommend, just not on opening 😅

Nice supermarket but dairy prices

Great location. Also pretty good value if you're a student - or just shopping for one. There are plenty of 'single serve' items. Including a tiny milk bottle - perfect, if you're staying an hotel nearby.

The staff here are excellent. I pop in at least 3 times per week and have never had a negative encounter with any member of staff even when I ask silly questions about where products are kept or times I've had to return items. Staff culture makes such a difference to atmosphere and service, so well done team!

Fab big NW store that is across from where I lived for 2 years, until last weekend. They always had my grocery items in stock and they have flybuys loyalty yay.

Nicely organised aisles of groceries, the checkout workers are fast, and the produce is reasonably priced. The freshly baked wedges they have with garlic salt are delicious 😊👍 Could bump down the store lighting though. My eyes are not great with harsh lighting. Not that I'm a vampire though. Nope. Totally not a vampire. Recommended.

Large and fairly well organised, but there always seems to be something fairly normal missing. Customer service is okay, with barely any on the shop floor, and vaguely friendly cashiers. Good range of wines and beers but don't come here expecting to find spirits of and stripe. Overall it's a perfectly serviceable grocery store, but certainly nothing special

Great range of well presented stock (though a lot more expensive than others). Checkout staff welcoming and pleasant but twice in a row, I have encountered an aisle blocked by teams of what I'm guessing are various team managers... so engrossed in what they are talking about that they are oblivious to customers needs to shop there!😨

Well presented aisles, the produce looks amazing with each fruit and vegetable carefully placed. However i think there needs to be a line between functionality and beautiful, the store as a whole makes me happy every time I visit. Standards are the same with out fail every time. . .

I don't shop here very often these days as Thorndon is much more convenient to where I live and work. However the produce is always top notch, and the variety is amazing. Great hot good section for a quick meal, and loads of bulk foods. The new layout is much more friendly and open.

Great range, easy walk from apartments. The entry is a little weird from the waterfront side so watch out for cars not watching. The beer and wine range are great and clearly cater for apartment people. They have plenty of cheese, meats and general holiday snacks. Given the proximity we could actually get all of our holiday breakfast and snacks and walk back to our apartment

Nice and clean. It's a big shop and I could find everything I need except the hair dye touch root nice n easy. They offer hot food for lunch. There are self help machines to scan and pay. Meat section is also great and much more.

Not a bad supermarket at all ...!!! The carpark is adequate including underground and topside parking .... the isles are ok and this supermarket is particularly well stocked with not only most likely what you need or are looking for but an ample supply of groceries and merchandise you would like to try out of pure interest. The delicatessen is more then adequate with quantity, quality and variety! The bakery section is ok. Additionally, the staff are friendly and very helpful ... much better experience then New World Thorndon in my opinion ...!!!

I found all of my groceries I wanted on my shopping list and some extra ones to. Pleased to see Christmas goodies, makes it easy to budget and get treats in the pantry. Friendly checkout staff. The owner, Gary Baker stopped and greeted me.

One of the big supper market in New Zealand having its store in Wellington city. Almost all variety of vegitables, fruits, flowers, herbs, food items, chicken, lamb, pork, beef, meat, fish, dairy products, cake, pastries, beers and huge variety of wines available. Prices are also competitive as compare to other stores. Everything for everyday needs and in variety. Usually crowded mostly on weekends but many counters are available which helps in fast billings. Lots of parking place available. As per regulations, alcohol is not served to minors or and everyone needs id.

Love everything except sometimes the greens and fruits are rotten.

I like going to new world Miramar cos I can get my chocolate cause I'm dairy free And you can get good little meat deals which is good for me being on my own

Amazingly large supermarket that has everything we could ever need (and more). Aisles are the tidiest I've ever seen and products are displayed in an OCD-satisfying way. Staff is helpful and very friendly. As they are in all New World stores we've visited so far.

Nice, well stocked New World with all the products you would expect and more. Shop here for all the delicatessen that is available - those special things the Pack & Save doesn't have. You pay more for the normal products here, so Pack and Save is cheaper. Will shop here again and can recommend.

Great selection of good quality food, plenty of choices for vegetarian and super helpful staff. Other New Worlds need to have a look at this standard of supermarket, our hometown New World in Opotiki should be very embarrassed compared to this

Fast and easy access to people living in town. There might be a bit of a que depending on the time.

Fantastic location in Willis street. Very handy to my work. I can just pop down to buy lunch or breakfast. I can find pretty much what I need. The place is so busy but you don't have to wait that long. They offer pretty quick service here. I like going there mostly every day to buy fresh lunch.

Typically shopping experience, nothing too fancy. Parking can be difficult to get a peak times so be aware of that. Great place to go if you're nearby and need to get a quick snack or so. Pricing is decently average, nothing crazy.

Best produce I have seen in a North Island supermarket. The store is also massive; possible to find items that other New Worlds do not stock, especially in the international section. Carpark a bit just, however never struggled to find a spot.

The supermarket is normally ok but today bought two squid which were really bad but I didn't even know till I got home and try to clean them. The only saving grace was they refunded my money but that require defer the trip to the supermarket. Their quality control is a bit lacking.

Fantastic fresh rolls and cakes in the deli. The 4 staff I directly dealt with were lovely people. Thoroughly recommended, especially if you're staying in a hotel and need a cheap and tasty cooked meal or a quality take out lunch.

Great range of quality food at reasonable prices. Also lots of parking. However a lot of the staff are from overseas and not that friendly! One other thing which might apply to all self service checkouts, regardless of which company: When you bag your scanned items make sure you keep them well away from the scanner. Otherwise it might re-scan a paid item & then trigger a flashing light above the Machine. I had a almost unintelliable attendant run after me. Her accent was pretty strong but eventually I gathered that she wanted me 2 come back to the checkout M/C's. I then fished out my receipt' proved that I had paid for all my groceries & got an apology out of her kiwi colleague.

It's on the expensive side, but there's a good range of products, including some more gourmet lines. There's also an excellent in store bakery, and they have a pretty good range of alcohol too. Don't buy the produce (unless you're desperate) - wait for the Harbourside Market on a Sunday morning (held just across the road) and get your fruit and veg there for a quarter of the cost.

Excellent wine and beer selection. Handy location for popping in on the way past. More than your average supermarket. Beware nutter car drivers in and in/out of the Carpark if walking.

It's a supermarket like any other, quite large and well stocked but a little pricy, relative to other places in the inner city though the price is decent. There is self service checkouts so it is generally quite quick to buy one or two things unless you arrive at a very busy time

What a selection of food! Fantastic range of vege/vegan stuff also. Checkout operator was very nice and we had a good chat about cats haha. 4 stars only cos of too much plastic usage.

One of my favourite spots in Wellington and I stop in as often as I can. Great selection of food, especially to go healthy options (and bad ones 🍰🍩🍮) Always great to see the owner out on the floor.

It's NW. One of the most expensive in NZ, which isn't kool, but what do you do! It is nice and clean though, and always has what you'd expect!

A full line major supermarket located in Wellington City right next to the harbour. It is within walking distance of major attractions. It sells a variety of hot food at affordable price, great at both quality and quantity. It is especially great for tourists on a budget, or just want to take a break from eating out. It also has onsite free parking for shoppers.

I have to tell everyone, this supermarket blew me away. I went to the zoo and the museum and Cuba Street and yet... Thks supermarket BLEW ME AWAY WHAT THE HELL. I'll move to Wellington and live in this supermarket. Please make me a tiny home in the roof with a fireman's pole to access the deli.

Massive New World with an amazing choice of just about everything. Prices are a little steep but it's so much more convenient shopping here than anywhere else, so I'm happy to pay the inflated prices. They have a really great queueing system and plenty of tills so you're never really waiting long. Perfect.

Pretty well stocked up decent veggies and fruit. A bit on the pricy side. All a s all one of the better New Worlds out there. Recommended.

Great store with lots of freshly baked confectionery. Great discounts on wine collection. Right opposite te Papa museum

A tad pricey but their bakery produces sumptuous fare to die for. Their proactive and courteous staff is super-efficient in maintaining a smooth, rapid flow through the self-checkout machines despite some errant customers.

This is the only big supermarket in the Wellington city center. The selections are wider than Countdown in the Lambton Quay. There are fish and meat counters where you can choose daily fresh meat and fish. Would recommend this supermarket if you are looking for more variations, but be careful with the prices as they might be more expensive than Countdown.

Always friendly staff and clean well organised shopping environment. Love e way staff always show you to the aisle when you all for the location of a product.

New World Wellington is wonderful. There's free WiFi you can use as you shop. It has a large variety of fruit, vegetables, nuts, cheese's, dairy products, canned food and everything else. They also have an exceptional deli selection and a delicious fresh baked bakery selection with delectable looking treats! The staff are very friendly, helpful and are always happy to lend a hand or answer any questions.

Well stocked, big supermarket. The uncovered parking spaces are quite limited, but the inside of the supermarket is big. situated next to the water which make it have awesome view, but quite far from where I stay and my activities were.

If the two supermarkets in the Wellington CBD New World dominates. It has an excellent deli selection, great for fresh fruit and veg, good cheese and freshly baked cheese range. The new world wine awards time of year is brilliant. There is also a very convenient car park next door.

Oh my! The most perfectly stacked looking supermarket in NZ. And the bakery is outrageous, huge size and quality for the price!

One of the main supermarket chains in New Zealand. This was the one in downtown Wellington next to the harbour. For its location you think it would be small and stuck as part of a larger building, but in reality it's a large size grocery like you would see farther out of downtown. It has all the usual sections you'd expect a supermarket to have, all laid out with good signage. I like how traffic is directed from the entrance on the west, down and through the sections, then back up to the checkout stands in front. A pleasant surprise.

Nice shopping. Concerns about New World shops still issuing SMEG stickers but no knives stocked - crazy!!!

I got asked to leave the self-serve Lane because I had a trolley. They have got a very small sign at the beginning of the cue that I did not see. The comment that came from the staff member was extremely rude. There was other people that commented that they would not have seen the small sign either.

We walked in here on xmas eve scared of the thousands of people...we thought we would be here forever however the manager In all his wisdom must have made everyone come into work. There were people packing shelves every checkout was open and there was packers at each checkout and the place was running like a well oiled machine...they even had Santa directing traffic in the car park. Amazing display of beautiful, fresh food. Shelves are always full and tidy. The huge diverse choices always make me spend more than I intend to...everytime! Keep it up Gary and team!

A mega mart with lots of fresh foodstuffs. You’ll find everything you need. Lots of parking spaces available. Staffs are also very friendly. Apparently it’s the most expensive grocery store in Wellington, but if you opt for clearance and things on special, you can save a lot from it. Also sign up for Flybuys card if you shop regularly.

I loved they're selection of fruit and vegs and meat. Lots of stuff to choose from. Only one suggestion is to make a separate toilet for men and women as some mothers have to change nappies and some people in the line get upset and start knocking on the door.

A well-stocked supermarket filled with fresh produce, regular & specialty groucery items as well as a selection of locally brewed Wellington AND New Zealand craft beer. Of particular note for travelers & commuters was the amazing fresh bakery/patisserie & deli section offering a wide range of ready-to-eat & made-to-order-while-you-wait eats (including options for non-meat eaters & those with specific dietary requirements)

Great supermarket with the most incredible bakery section! Even if you don't buy anything, just go and admire the bakery section. Sooo many goodies.

I had bought a bottle of wine and just as I got through checkout, i dropped the bag. The staff were wonderful and took very good care not to make me feel worse than I was. They even replaced the wine.

Various kind of vegetable are there, plenty of meat available as price decline, and drink. Moreover, well-being to staff working with customer.

Helped Dcm with their volunteering - My husband and I were the drivers. Picking up the food trolleys and delivering the food back to Dcm... People were so generous with there food support... Was a good turn out of food supplies... A well worth support of all the volunteers... Thank you to everyone who helped DMC out...

Sometimes have good deals on beer/wine but in general mad overpriced especially the fruit n veggies... but thats the norm really... however they easily have the best presentation ive ever seen :)

Shelves constantly being re stocked and kept very tidy, all staff very polite. Would have been 5 stars if the isles were a little larger, not much room to move with a trolley.

such a big and wide supermarket. selling varieties of dry food, fish, meat , fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. include some magazine's. It has also providing a big parking area for shoppers.

Overall just one of those shops that has got it. I live 18km away but id make a point to visit whenever im in the city or whenever i feel like it.

Always well stocked lots of variety too. Best supermarket bakery, cakes and deli in Wellington.

It's very busy but is a nice big supermarket with good produce available. However, at 34 years old I get asked for identification every time I buy alcohol here & it's so irritating.

once I came in and asked for pico de Gallo and they said it's by the chili peppers but they were out of stock so every time I came back for a while I looked for pico de Gallo by the chili peppers. a week went by and there was still no pico then I left New Zealand.

Prices are a tad more expensive than other supermarkets, but it has a great selection of all the products you need!

Love the range of shopping options here and that you can easily shop small portions here. Always strike helpfull staff here when support required.

Visited this supermarket countless times, prices are ok, but not as good as in the Hutt. Handy if you are living nearby however. Staff seemed fine, self check makes getting out fast at most times.

Wellington is lucky to have 2 of the best New Worlds in NZ and this store is one of them. Their Deli and bakery areas are particularly outstanding.

This supermarket was superb. Pricey but extremely good produce. Set up for tourists next to Te Papa.

They promote themselves as selling fresh, but I don't always feel that when I'm looking at the fresh produce. You know that they could do better when you hear their staff complain about their conditions.

A must to shop. All New World supermarkets are Excellent tidy plus staff are well trained love there bakeries.

This supermarket has most of the things available for grocery items. Billing is fast n there is a lot of variety to choose from.

A busy yet nice New Wrold not my fav one but up there, great place for hanging out with the homies and playing hide and seek, good selection of product but lines can be a bit annoying at peak hours.

Ample parking, good range of produce with a well stocked deli and alcohol range. Many cash registers make for quick processing.

They have many things that other new world don't carry, also they have quite a huge selection of Asian products. 👍

This supermarket is massive and has an incredible selection, specifically in the seafood department

Large supermarket close(ish) to Courtney Place. Convenient if you want to do a big shop. Or, you can buy a few drinks before heading home.

Best fresh meat ever, especially Beef and Chicken, and they've got a wonderful team, I always appreciate the hi moral that Willis Street Butcher has.

As you would expect from New World chain. Its expensive & lacking products you would find otherwise in countdown but the location makes it worthwhile trip. If there was a countdown closer proximity I would go there instead. Beggere can't be choosers 🙂

Oh this is the best place to get single slices of pizza and it's the best tasting pizza I've ever had. I live in palmy and sometimes I get stoned and drive here just for the pizza

Good sized store, can get busy and often a little more expensive than countdown. Temp visitors/travellers - get a temporary new world card for cardholder only deals.

Employees are very kind. When I was finding pam's coconut cream, I asked a employee to find that one and he took me to coconut cream!!

First time here and amazed by the range of fresh foods and health foods here. Prices are also wallet-friendly. Love it!!

By far the most expensive new world I've ever been to and probably the most expensive in New Zealand if you are looking for a bargain go somewhere else the food in the bakery is priced at cafe prices but definitely not cafe quality, there are a lot of items that new world sell standardly around the country at fixed prices they are the only bargains we could find in the store.

This New World is slightly less expensive than the one on Willis Street, but still on the pricier end. This store is more open and well laid out than the other one as well.
