Great choice of Asian cuisine ranging from tons of frozen stuff to packaged goods. Prices aren't that bad considering most of it is likely imported. I was able to find a lot of items here that weren't available in the local High Street or New World. Great place.

Good range of reasonably priced imported Asian goods (mostly food). They have Japanese, Vietnamese, Philipino and Korean, amongst others. The foods available include noodles, snacks, spices, seasonings, sauces, fresh and frozen vegetables, dumplings, buns, canned goods and more. They have individual ice creams (from Japan and Korea) and cold drinks, as well as fresh local tofu. There are also some cookware and personal care items. The staff are friendly and can often help if you can't understand the packaging (but most items have a sticky label with information in English).

Cool store! Has a bunch of favourites as well as new and interesting things to eat. My kids love running between the shelves, finding fun treats to try! Checkout operators always lovely and friendly.

The alterations lady inside Wellmart Asian Food Market is amazing. She drives a hard bargain but is efficient and beautifully accurate. I've had her alter skinny jeans, wide leg jeans and skirts and all done perfectly.

Fantastic range and helpful staff. Great for a wide range of asian foods including the best range of Japanese and Korean foods that I've found in Wellington.

Better asian food market in wellington

An authentic Korean Grocer run by Koreans. They have all the hard to find specific ingredients for traditional Korean Cuisine. You will also find an array of Korean kitchen utensils (clay pots, table grills etc.) The shop owners are extremely friendly and even has a small alteration shop within. Other common Asian products are available as well.

Its a smaller Asian market compared to others but has a great selection of Korean and other Asian goodies! Freezer section has amazing different meat balls for soups too and nice staff !!

This is my favourite Asian grocery in Wellington. I often go in with an idea of what I want and the team here really help on my way to the right product. Lots of variety and especially great for vegetarians.

Pretty well stocked with most asian staples. Was able to find most Chinese stuff I was looking for.

Excellent and wide range of items. Great central location, plenty of on-street parking. Good range of instant noodles - from Japan, Korea, China, etc... Prices are inexpensive and reasonable, but credit cards aren't accepted here.

Good selection of mostly asian food items. Though you might want to check similar items in supermarket as some items in New World are a bit cheaper. Good location in the city center. The lady/owner is really friendly.

I go here everytime I'm in Wellington! I love it. I try and buy a new snack each visit and found lots of new delicious foods. Great for adventures taste buds and hard to find foreign goods.

Great place for your Asian imported goods.. loved their selection of kimchi sauces..it's our place to go for stocking up.. kids had fun choosing the great selection of treats

Awesome range. Can usually find everything we need - it's like being back in Shanghai. You'll need to be prepared to ask for help if it's needed, the staff are usually pretty chilled and just sit at the registers - although this is a bonus if you're just browsing and don't want to feel hassled

Good selection of teas but couldn't find any Japanese rice tea, came in for a few items but ended up leaving with more than expected as they have so many kinds of Asian snacks, friendly and helpful staff, not as much variety as Yans in terms of Asian cooking utensils but there is a clothing alteration stand which is very convenient

I always come here for my Asian groceries. It has a large variety of stock in not only instant noodles but also snacks and Asian goods in general. If you need any Asian branded groceries, you'll probably find it here.
