Best Asian supermarket in Wellington city. Great range of food from most parts of the Asian continent including fresh food, noodles, frozen foods, condiments, tea including milk teas, spices, mushrooms, dried & canned food & snack food. Also sells steamers, woks & teapots etc. These guys import a lot of the food directly from Asia. Try the red date tea or the coconut durian rolls. Yam chips are also good, & mama creamy shrimp tom yum noodles.

Pretty large. It has most of the ingredients for Asian recipes. There are several car parking available. Not really close to the bus stop, 3 minutes walking from there, but still manageable.

I think this is one of the largest Asian grocery mega mart in WGL. You’ll be able to find pretty much everything you need to cook Asian cuisine mainly Chinese but also Korean and Thailand Japanese and Malaysian and (list goes on). Price is reasonable although some of them are cheaper elsewhere. Service is good too. Overall good grocery store if you love Asian or live nearby. There’s car parking as well so also very convenient for drivers.

One of the Asian supermarket s that offers a huge variety if things. Always fresh and many choices for each product. Love to go there.

Didnt have anything in mind when checking out the store, did so more out of curiousity. The facility seems tidy and organised. A vast range of asian supermarket foods. Friendly staff always willing to provide good service. Funky parking lot outside the store which is basically a drive-thru.

Love going here, they have a great selection of asian foods and also veg is a plus if I can't be bothered going to the veg markets

Great range of foods and ingredients. Worth a look for hard to find fungi, enormous pieces of cinnamon which could used for a delicious smelling log cabin or cucumber flavoured potato crisps.

A tad on the expensive side. But, had everything I needed in one place.

Not the biggest Asian store I have been to but they have everything I mostly need and the prices are very reasonable as well. Plus their rice puffs and sesame buns are delicious, hand and cheap. Plus the staff always greets customers with a smile.

If you are a noodle fan then this is another place to go to. Nice little Asian super market, lots of noodle packets with different flavours. Lots of different food. The pork buns are very nice. We bought all sorts including dumplings, fish sauce, pork buns and varieties of noodles.

All Asian stuff and "real" duck meals......a must taste when in Wellington! 👍 You can get all Asian things there!!!!

Kids get a quick feed here when on the go. Good variety of Asian food, cooked food to order, fresh produce - general Asian food grocery store. Flat access for wheelchair users if you park in the bay right out front. Can be busy but its a grocery shop. Staff were helpful.

I tried the spicy garlic soybean snack and enjoyed it but also recognise in it a great utility as a portable excuse to get you out of kissing someone as it leaves a strong scent on your breath. Good place 9/10 also recommend the canned coffees

Generally a good supermarket where you can buy a wide range of Asian products, however I bought 2 things recently which are very disappointing. The first 1 is 'organic jasmine flower tea.' $12. But when I opened it at home, there is not a single jasmine flower to be seen. It doesn't smell like it has Jasmine flowers either, I even doubt if it's organic now. The second item is a bag of cinnamon, can't remember the price, not cheap, but when I opened it at home, I only smell pungent chemical odor. There is no fragrance of cinnamon. I'm going to throw it away because I don't want to be poisoned by nasty chemicals.

Everything I need in one place. Good selection of veges and a great snack section. Only place I bother with for tofu, soy milk and hot pot ingredients

This is a big Asian supermarket nearby Cuba Street. Most of the products are from China and fresh vegetables and noodles are sold here. There are also cooked food such as roasted meat available for purchase. Beware of the prices and product quality as some items with reduced items might be expired and prices of many items are higher than other supermarkets, e.g. Countdown.

Good range of Asian groceries. Mostly Chinese products, but there are also some Korean, Japanese and Filipino goods. They have a large selection of frozen foods, such as dumplings and vegetables. They also sell barbecued ducks and cooked chickens, if you're looking for an easy meal.

Among the Asian stores in Wellington, Yan’s Supermarket provides heaps of option. From the basic seasonings to frozen items, name it and they have almost everything you need. You’ll enjoy doing your shopping there if you are planning to buy some asian ingredients.

Large and extensive Asian supermarket. Layout and lack of signage means you walk around trying to find what you want and adds to you buying "impluse" items as you shop.

A well stocked store, I love the Bok Choi they sell, it's always so fresh.

This place is expensive but you will find just about anything you need for your Asian cooking. There's all kinds of whacky pop, crisps, and sweet stuff as well. None of it vegan though.

Fantastic selection and friendly staff, one of our favourite Asian supermarkets to visit.

Their cooking and menu is reasonable, but you have to buy your chilli sauce unlike other restaurants and overseas where these are standard condiments offered freely at every table! A tad tight! (Chilli and soya sauce is the equivalent of the Western salt and pepper condiments). They also offer other popular, product lines such as Chinese cakes and savouries, eg. baked char siu pow, red bean cake, etc., in addition to their cold, Chinese-deli foods. Check out their spicy, marinated seaweed with chopped coriander because it is delicious and also good for health as it is mineral-rich.

A great little Asian grocery store. Lots of stock from all over (I got Thai tea!), and the prices look pretty good, too.

If I lived in Wellington, I would definitely shop here for any Asian food items I needed. It seemed to be one of the most well stocked of several Asian supermarkets around town.

Best instant noodles ever! They had these amazing Duck flavoured ones (Vegan obviously) and an even better chicken flavoured one in a round packet.

Staff provided fast and efficient service. I was disappointed to see customers walking pass the ✋ sanitiser, upon entering the business. They must have a Death Wish.

Yan's was great got what I needed, table fowel to make a great chicken stock and also got a nice large Daikon radish.Very happy 😊

You can get stuff normally not available from new world or countdown, or larger packaging. E.g. sticky rice, nori, tiny chillis, durian, yumchar items.
