Love the biltong here! The Chakalaka flavor is the best. This is the best biltong I’ve found in the Rodney area. Cool little shop with tons of unique items. Staff was super friendly and gave us great descriptions of the different flavors of biltong when we were trying to decide. Will definitely be a return customer here.

While my first experience ordering online wasn’t great, I am going to have to order many more times because this was the best Biltong I have had in New Zealand in 20 years. I ordered on Christmas Day so understood there would be delays and in no way expected it to be sent the next day, I did think it would be shipped faster then the 12 days I waited for it to be sent, or even some form of communication explaining there would be a delay. All in all it took 20 days for me to receive my order. Reviewing the product alone, it would be 5 stars for sure though, absolutely delicious Biltong and I’ve almost finished $45 worth in 4 days!

A remarkable place to visit on your way North next time, situated just North of the township of Wellsford, this shop caters for anyone with a background from South Africa. When you are missing the special tastes from home, this is your 'go to' to get a fix of the tastes of home. Well stocked shop, with anything you could think of - imported for you.

I liked some of the African handcrafts which were reasonably well priced. My South African friend thoroughly enjoyed a walk down memory lane with all kinds of products from home, which promoted some funny stories (& signs in Afrikaans) But for me it was mostly overpriced did/drink with nothing special. The shop assistant who served us coming on to my friend was creepy - won't return.

Very food service feom the team. The biltong is good with a nice variety to choose from. 2L Cold drinks are normally flat and some of the products were beyond their expiry date.
