One of the longest serving supermarkets in the area, Pak n Save has been at this site for over 25 years. The checkout staff are courteous & polite and the groceries are generally slightly cheaper than the other two supermarkets in town but the range is perhaps less extensive. There's the usual fruit n vege section, dairy & meat section, a dedicated deli counter with hot chooks ready to do, a bakery in the corner and the usual aisles of groceries. It's usually busy and sometimes a good wait at the checkout.

Like all pack n save supermarkets, the products prices are competitive they vary from place to place but are usually priced below other supermarkets... Most times. And with their $2,$5 and so on week makes getting are bargain for your money easy, with a friendly service at checkouts.

Just visiting the area on school holidays this paknsave has Nice big spacious isles. But I was not a fan Split between the rows like a highway road... Making it look like rows of stuff. That was alot of walking around and around for 5 items. But found everything in the end.

Staff friendly...but the online shopping needs improvement please. You can no longer collect from lockers and need to call a staff to bring your groceries. Not ideal if in a rush, have small children waiting or have mobility issues(no seats to wait on). Also alot of itemsnot available online such as free range eggs

The shelf filler guy on the dairy section was awesome on Saturday afternoon. He was working flat out filling shelves and I asked him where the pate was. He took me down to show me and when there was no stock on the shelf of the product I wanted, he immediately went out the back and got me some. Brilliant guy, he needs a raise!!!

Pack n save in whakatane is a very big supermarket with a very diverse range of products as well as a good set up of each row, I personally injoy shopping hear as the prices are normally better than other supermarkets in the area and ther is plenty of space between shelves.

This was a routine weekly shop, mostly as good as it normally is but I was disappointed that the meat packs were over $5. Being on the benefit I like to pay less than $5 for each meat item. The young lady on the checkout was very pleasant and friendly and easy to talk to and have a chuckle with.

This is where i shop on a regular basis. They cater to my family weekly budget. I already know where everything is located. Occassionally they are out of stock when i need things but not very often. I enjoy seeing what they have on hand when its deal week like $2 or $5 week. They have a variety of goods, however Toilet paper has been very expensive lately and they have now switched $1 bread brand just recently but all were notifies in store by bread stands. Checkouts are very acknowledging and cheerful.

hy. i was annoyed that i was told i could only buy 5 $1.00 bread at one time. if i wanted more i had to walk back out of the shop door then walk back in to buy the next 5.. what a dumb rule pack n save.. so i asked shop keeper if my 10year old dorta can pay for my next 5 bread.. apparently not.. saves walking out then walk back aye.. as a customer if my dorta bought the bread that should be classed as a sale? yes? apparently not. because supervisor told both myself and check out "not allowed because the bread is going to the same place" come on pack n save.. families come in 6s and 10s these days.. whos got time to pay for 5.. walk out. walk back in and pay next 5.. change your ways boss.. that rule sux😬
