C.Amazing fish and chips! The service was awesome! So friendly and felt like a true kiwi-owned store. Hard to find a store like this in these trying times but I really enjoyed their genuine hospitality and service. Highly recommended. So happy to find them off the beaten track.
P.My son and very pregnant daughter-in-law are down for the weekend. We had takeaways from The Estuary Store, snapper for me and veggie burgers plus onion rings and so many perfectly cooked chips, we could barely make it back from the beach, (just moments away) and across the road to their AirB&B. I can't recommend them highly enough. Brilliant! I nearly hired a kayak to paddle it off, but unfortunately it was too dark...honest.
L.Friendly customer service and meal was ready exactly the time they said. My meal exceeded expectations. Kumera chips were hand cut golden Kumera. Onions rings where battered and not the horrible ones from a packet. Fish and fish batter was delicious. Awesome takeaway shop and worth the drive over to the estuary. Thanks team!

C.Awesome burgers! I had the American which was sooo good, but the whole family enjoyed their feed... A variety of burgers, the freshest chips (clean, good oil I think because they tasted so good), amazing fish and the best potato fritters! All of this in such good time... Ring ahead and you can order the specific time you would like it ready. Absolutely love that while I'm on holiday and I can eat so well.

C.Best diary and fish n chips in Whangamata. Lovely burgers, excellent kiddie boxes for the kids and the crumbed fish is always fresh. Great fun playing a few mini putt holes while you wait, it does get very busy always phone ahead and order.
N.Best burger from a fish & chip store ever. Double American cheeseburger. Homemade patties, everything cooked brilliantly. So happy this is in Whanga!

D.Took the family for an ice cream on the weekend and my little one was in tears because the ice cream fell off just outside the shop. The lady working in the shop saw what happened, came outside, offered a replacement and instantly calmed the little guy. Excellent service and we will now make this our regular ice cream when we visit Whanga. Thanks.
C.Classic Kiwi Diary and more - by Otahu Estuary - the best part of the best beach in New Zealand. From kayak rentals to excellent Fish n Chips plus the essentials of a diary (including a wide range of ice cream cone flavours) this has to be one of the top coastal dairies in the country.
