K. C.A great small town store that is coping amazingly with the summer influx. We go from a permanent population of about 4000 people to over 100,000. The staff are amazing. Be kind.

F.As a supermarket they have a good range of fresh, reasonably price goods. Their staff are helpful and friendly and really supported Whangamata during the lockdown. They support community events.

D. P.Good selection of all kinds of food. Fresh produce expensive. But quality good. Wide selection of grocery items all nicely laid out and easy to find what you want. I must say we just loved the service we had from Ella, our checkout operator. The staff can really make or break an experience and she was so fabulous that when we went back we especially lined up to see her again!

K. S.New Management maybe sponsorship orientated which is great BUT the majority of the staff need "kick up the butt " treatment. Only stock very basic items then struggle to get anything different which other stores hold as normal stock. Very good for the other grocery stores in town I would suggest.
P. H.I visited here with friends after not living in NZ for years. They spent $170 for two small bags of groceries for a single nice dinner for three! Is that normal for NZ now or is it just this supermarket? Where I live in California that would get groceries for a whole week for a family of four.

C. I.Was at New World last night when they announced closing in 5 mins at 6pm. A customer was trying to come in but was told they were closing. He said but you close at 8pm, I saw it online and was told no we are closing now. Please change your opening hours to refelct the true times. It's stressful enough shopping at the moment without having to deal with this. Thanks
