Barn-style supermarket with very high roof line. Lots of the usual with larger take home prepared food section (warm and cold) and adequate wine selection. Easy parking, quick check out. Overall, ok rather than exceptional.

New World Whangaparaoa love this supermarket staff so friendly and helpful. Cleanliness: Follows Covid Principles Shop is pristine. Love Delicatessen especially the filled rolls, Sandwiches, Greek Salad delicious.

Lots of choices, lots of cooked meal, good stopover to buy stuff before heading to shakrspear regional park. Plenty of other business around to, like restaurants.

Must say Penny should be ever so proud of her staff, each time I've needed help there was always someone nearby to ask. The store is always well stocked and tidy, bakery is fantastic and I'd like to point out a kind staff member who was helpful in checking if the canned mangoes were on their way and took my number and txted me once they arrived (same day) as well as putting some aside for me at the checkout. This makes life with a toddler and new born alot easier, so I'd like to give a shout out to Georgia 🙂

They have the best deli and bakery on the coast. There's always something special in the meat cabinet to choose from, it's my go to when I'm out of dinner ideas 😁

It was a bit frantic today with the shoppers/grabbers but the staff (especially the customer service manager) made it easy by opening all tillpoints, delaying lottery ticket buyers and getting all of us out faster than we thought. Walking to the car I saw a young worker herding all the trolleys back to where they can be used. Great job ro all of you 👍

Those working the tills/packing groceries are super friendly, helpful and very much polite! They're the ones doing the hard yards and building a good reputation for the company. The only thing I've noticed is that they're usually short on staff which puts extra pressure on those already busy tending to customers. The management team needs to step up and take more responsibility to ensure that they have proper protocols in place because the only thing that's keeping it all together is the friendly customer service. It's a shame that such a good store has to be ruined by the manager/supervisors and all those sitting in the office. Ps, if you're looking for a place to watch the manager yell at their employees and customers for no reason whatsoever... Then this is the place to go!

Back to excellent. Faltered noticeably under previous ownership. Wonderfully friendly staff now seem far happier these days. Meat, fish & bakery quality all now brilliant. Booze dept a tad too expensive, likewise fruit and veg. Handy location and ample parking. 5 stars, up from 2 stars.

I have always shopped at new world as I like their variety. Unfortunately I find my regular new world Whangaparora good in some areas but lacking in others. Alot of the staff on the checkouts look so unhappy and 9 times out of 10 I pack my own groceries. Be nice to just have a friendlier atmosphere as I do spend alot of time and money on food and would welcome the experience to be a bit more positive.

Great specials and a super store

Wonderful supermarket, has lovely fresh vegetables and very good meat. They sell simply the best large muffins from their bakery. The owner Penny is often near the door greeting people and often seen around the store checking on things and acknowledging customers.

Good store which isnt our local but we always stop by when we are visiting friends. Wine selection is good and lots of same stuff that our local has and layout is great. Nothing more to really add except we always stop by to pick up stuff. I guess the car park isn't the most user friendly but that could have something to do with the people we parking by on the day.

One of the better NW stores... Availability of fresh fruit varies depending on time of day you're visiting, but mostly the variety of fresh produce is good, meat and dairy variety mostly better than the competitor up the road. Staff is usually friendly.

Very good shopping experience. Fruit and vegetables are displayed very well and fresh. Had fresh butcher meat (steaks etc) on display and you can get it cut for you. Great deli bar. Checkout staff very pleasant and helpful.

With click and collect available it's great and so convenient with all your must have grocery items and close by is a pharmacy, Dominos and a 24hr gym.

I really enjoy shopping here but was very disappointed to have to wait ages tonight to be served by the deli staff. I was completely ignored by one staff member who served two customers who arrived after me, while the other staff member was having a great discussion with a customer even though she had finished serving her. It is very nice to have friendly staff but very rude to ignore waiting customers.

It's the easiest supermarket on the Hibiscus Coast to be in and out of quickly. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Things are easy to find. Clean and fresh as are the fresh produce. As others have stated they do not carry the range but at least you know they will have what they do carry. More expensive than Pac n Save but about the same as Countdown.

Wow they have some awesome new food for 2019, too bad it's so popular sometmes you can hardly move. Waaaaay better fruit and veg than the supermarket up the top and yay finally white grapefruit juice 😊 pretty good beer section even though it's so compact. Why they hide some of the interesting stuff unrefrigerated facing the back I don't know.

We think New World supermarkets are tops! Their supermarkets are full of happy and helpful staff who go out of their way to make your shopping trip great. We currently use Morrinsville New World so we travel 20 mins to do our weekly shop there. Highly recommend this New World. Prices great, specials good, car park easy and large to get around.

A very good experience. I would really like to see all foods with prices close by. But at check out today, the check out operator and packet were amazingly helpful. I was at check out a little before 12 noon and i think it was check out aisle 10.

Small supermarket with good range and options, has everything bigger supermarkets stock. Easy access from Whangaparaoa Road. Good parking. Handy if you only need a few items; takes only a few minutes to go in and out.

It is the best supermarket on the coast. It is always kept clean and you can access everything so easily. If you need help with anything the staff are amazing.

Great selection some exclusive items. It is more "fancy" than other super markets making some items more expensive comparably. Great staff and store! Located in a lovely destination with the beach and park nearby and in a mini-mall with places to eat out and Pizza, Sushi Pharmacy, Liquor Store, TANK Juice Bar, Hairdresser, 24/7 gym and Travel Agent.
