Reviews of Countdown Regent
A.Wonderful and luxurious place to stay and the staff were reassuring and great to talk to. Our time was short lived due to the Tsunami that hit on the night of our anniversary but, we would highly recommend them to anybody. Special mention to Tirikawa who took care of us at the front desk. You are a superstar. Thank you so much 😊
N.It's quite cramped in the isles and neither customers or staff social distance. Has consistently had issues with stock shortages over last 2 years. Often either doesn't have a price for products or products are out of place with the wrong prices.
I'm hoping things will improve when they're finished renovating.
But it's the closest to home and their fresh food tends to be fresh.
J.Yes very well stocked supermarket and good displays. Helpful trolley boy when I asked if they had a bathroom he actually show where it was good service. Forgot to ask him his name, nice young chap.
L.Changing my review because of the atrocious condition of the Trolley's. Most are an such a terrible state. Wheels are always broken and I don't feel comfortable putting my son in the toddler seat.
Update. 18-5 talked to a manager and showed the staff member my concerns. Noted numerous child seats had no seatbelt.
Update 20-7 Trolley's have new wheels and repairs have be made to the Trolley's to make them safer.
B.Great selection of items. Friendly staff and easy to navigate around the store. Self checkouts also allow for fast service.
A.Nicely stocked. Wide aisles. Very organised staff even with Covid precautionary measures.
Safest and easiest shopping experience in Whangarei and I mean both Countdown stores.
J.Empty shelves. Staff trying to restack shelves big trolleys everywhere. Staff trying to pick for online orders trolleys everywhere. Glad I went early.
