It's ok. As usual another overcharge on my docket. Normally would get goods free. This time the cash difference. Always check your docket. Last time $18 overcharge. Don't like there meat

Little in size but had a good selection manager seemed really unfriendly tho. Our check girl was cool and polite and chatty which was nice.

Just what you'd expect from your typical Countdown. Staff were not overly friendly, however no complaints

Easy to get to could find everything I was looking for friendly staff well coming feels like home away from home parking out front recommended

Teller's are always pleasant at Whitianga and enjoy going in as there is lots of space to move around.

Well stocked Countdown, some good bargains, quick to shop thru.

Alot more people in town this weekend but the store is still very well stocked and all checkouts open so speedy processing. Thanks team merry Christmas

Considering were in a covid pandemic countdown pulled through with some great food prices and plenty of food produce to offer.

Got what we wanted and left .They had what we wanted. And we were asked at the door to sign in

Awesome store, loved the clean shelves and easy to find what we wanted. Had a chance to talk to the store manager who was lovely and polite.

Really appreciate the friendly staff here especially over these challenging times when some customers are less than understanding. You guys really do a fantastic job. THANK YOU

Not from the area but really well stocked for a small town! Lots of fresh produce options and specialty products like organic, gluten free etc.

Great experience. Quick in and out for wine dessert olive oil and broccoli. My wife would say her choice was more relavant like in order Brocolli first olive oil 2nd then dessert then wine. Great supermarket great checkout experience..

Friendly staff as with all Countdown shops

Although this is probably just like any other countdown in winter, they appeared to struggle to cope with the huge influx of summer customers. The shelves were almost completely bare in some areas of the store for most of the day. Otherwise they had a reasonable range of products. Customer service was average but that could be due to the huge number of customers.

Yes, its countdown and similar to all the others, but well laid out, great range of produce and good prices as well. The place was busy with trippers but the team kept everyone moving through the tills and kept the queues down.

I live in Whitianga and recommend countdown. Competitive prices, good range of items and I've never had a problem with the friendly staff.

I love countdowns 2 dollars specials and the bags of odd fruit and vegetables at a reasonable price

Usual Countdown fare, not the biggest. Plenty of parks. Went to check out. The woman serving, ignored us while we stood there wondering if we had turned invisible, then swapped with somebody. Very odd not to even acknowledge us.

Vegan and organic foods are there No more plastic packaging on imports and domestic products would be good. Paper carry bags and cloth bags only would be good too.

I get overcharged here on a regular basis (particularly on displayed specials). I recommend that you check your receipt and notify staff if you find a discrepancy.

Good selection of goods. Closest big supermarket to Coromandel Town. .I prefer the prices of PaknSave which is 10mins more travel in Thames.

Countdown stocks everything you could possibly want from a supermarket. I'm rapt that we have access to a top store here in Coromandel - so far from everywhere yet we now have a Countdown - awesome!

It's a good cheap supermarket, has most of what you need. They also have a good specialty section.

No BBQ charcoal! Checked at the counter and have been out of the two brands they stock for three days.
