Absolutely great experience after being turned down and refused food at countdown whitianga over a mask issue i explained what happened to wayne the security guard at new world and had a great time getting food for our currently homeless family of 7.

Good size managed to pick up all I need friendly staff no queuing quick service parking out front

Smaller than the standard New Worlds this is a great local supermarket let down by not enough cashiers at busy times.

Very helpful to people who visit over weekend .

A good sized store with most things we wanted - even on a long holiday weekend where a few things had been sold out! Well located near the centre of town, easy to get a park and a good range for the most part.

Nice staff and clean supermarket

The place was packed but the service was excellent. Nothing was a hassle. When we couldn't find what we needed, the staff member went out of their way on not one but 2 occasions. The holiday queues were all orderly, with staff keeping a close eye on people pushing in 😉. At checkout, a single lime was about to cost $17.50, not only did the lady ask if I really wanted it but suggested where I might find cheaper, or an alternative! Big thumbs up to Whitiang NW on a really busy day.

Customer service is always really good here, variety would be the only thing preventing a five star rating

Really well stocked for a small town supermarket, much better than our local New World in a main city, lots of variety in products, and great bakeware, utensils and speciality rubs and spices for the BBQ!

Deli section is way better then Countdown across the road but staff don't know what's in the products been offered. I waited 5 minutes to be told if a pastry was made with fat or vege oil and ended up walking away. Fruit and veg aren't very good. No obvious public toilet.

Always consistant with good clean premises. Variety is still on par and cool inside !. However, the lads at the checkout need to be more focused on their customers. I had to wait untill they had finished talking together before I was served. Oh, and I had to instigate the "hello" before they spoke.......dont let the team down boys

Good store with the essentials

Nice size when compared to the super sized US super markets... Competitive prices.. Reason why only 4 is becoz most of the racks in fresh bakery isle were empty.. But it looked like it was because they were sold out..

They use paper containers in the deli with recyclable lids and have a wet wipes dispenser to clean the trolley handles. Also a sign out front to remind you to bring in your reusable bag, with no option to buy plastic ones. Definitely a step ahead of Auckland supermarkets.

Worker called Nathan very helpful helped me find my crackers even though he works in produce. Very nice boy. Wish I knew more teenagers like him. My grandchildren recently pranked me by sending me a video on my ipad that they said was of a cat but it turned out to be that very attractive Rick Astley chap. Back in the day he was quite a dish. All my girlfriends thought he was very hot.

Always very obliging staff I have held your store in high regard as my parents who have resided here since 1990. BUT My parents who are now 88 are loyal customers and have been since the 'good ole' price cutter originonly owned by great local folk who have been and still are generous community contributors. I certainly hope these ethics continue on. My Mother of 87 at the time had her car badly damaged in the car park of NEW WORLD Whitianga in the DISABLED carpark to the right hand side of entrance to the building. I had communication finally with owner of the WHITIANGA Franchise after being 'fobbed off' by many at end of the phone . My response was EXTREMELY dissatisfactry. NOT MEETING CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISRESPECTFUL. YOU HAVE CCTV CAMERAS EVERYWHERE EXCEPT DISABLED CAR PARK DOMAIN AS THE OWNER HAPPILY AGREED TO HAVE NO INTEREST IN MAKING COMMITMENT TO DO SO . MY MOTHER'S CAR COST $2000 TO FIX THROUGH NEGLIGENCE OF YOUR INTEREST IN PEOPLE WITHIN YOUR COMPANY. THE VEHICLE WHICH TORE MY DISABLED MOTHER'S CAR APART OF COURSE WAS A 'PARK AND RUN' HAD A TRAILER ATTACHED WHICH WAS DECIDED UPON BY THE PANELBEATER /MECHANIC. THE OWNER OF THE NEW WORLD STORE WHITIANGA SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE INTEREST IN MY OPINION OF JUSTICE THAN DISCLOSING MY SUGGESTION OF RESEARCHING THE CARPARK WITH REGARD TO THE VEHICLE WHICH DAMAGED MY MOTHER'S VEHICLE AT THE TIME AND LOCATION AS THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN CCTV COVERED.
