Crane Brothers consistently offer beautifully made and styled products that last forever and they offer great, knowledgeable service! They are always happy to do whatever they can for you. My online sales were easy to make and delivered very efficiently. They are a first class outfit.

Crane Bros are a shop of unique attributes, they sell beautifully made merchandise, and will alter, if necassary. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and the quality of the merchandise is second to none. When one is spending money nowadays its good to know with Crane Bros you get value for money.

John created a made-to-measure suit for my wedding, and the entire experience was excellent. John was friendly, approachable, responsive, and committed to delivering the best product possible. I felt as though I was in safe hands, and John's extensive experience was evident. He took my budget into account and I never felt as though I was being up-sold. The process of being measured and attending fittings made me confident that the end product would be what I wanted, and I was right - the suit was perfect. The Crane Brothers team also helped me pick out some other accessories for my wedding. I had an excellent experience and will be back.

I have been very happy to have been a customer of Crane Brothers for many years in Auckland and at all times I have had a very professional experience. I have been working in Dubai over the last years and have used there made to measure services on many occasions. They have made me suits, jeans and shirts without any issues at all. I have always found the service that Murray and the Crane Brothers team provide far better then I have received ever in the past. I would recommend the Crane Brothers team to anyone looked for top notch service and even better men’s clothing.

Initially taking the time to understand your needs, the team guide you through fabric and style choices, creating a piece unique to you. Offering guidance on the nuanced details which add to Murray Crane's stylish designs, while taking the time to get to know you. Honestly, shopping with Crane Brothers is like stepping into a world of old friends who want nothing but the best for you. I have been lucky enough to be a customer of Crane Brothers for quite a few years in Auckland and Wellington and all that time I have had outstanding experiences. If you have not used there made to measure services as yet do so ,it will change the way you think about getting dressed not only for that special occasion but also for the more casual ones. Just recently I visited them to sort out what to wear as father of the groom and could not be more pleased. The service ,knowledge, honesty and fun is appreciated. I have worked with Crane Brothers over the last few years and have had a fabulous experience throughout, in respect of the service and welcoming atmosphere and also the quality of product. This includes made to measure suits and casual wear. I’ve worked mostly with John Mangham and his attention to detail is second to none. I would recommend Crane Brothers without hesitation to anyone looking for an outstanding experience. I have no doubt that first purchase would result in Crane Brothers being one-stop shop for you.

Murray and his team were exceptional. I purchased 5 suits for my wedding, 1 for me and 4 for my groomsman. The quality was outstanding, Murray was responsive to any questions and I had complete faith in him to deliver a fantastic product. The suits were high quality and were reasonably price. Would highly recommend seeing them whether it be for your wedding, a normal suit or just every day attire.

Absolutely awesome experience. Chris and Robert have done a awesome job. For made to measure clothing this is the only place to go for in the whole New Zealand. I was fortunate to find this place. They don’t have any logo on their shop. When you enter the shop it gives you the feeling of 20th century contemporary feel. You feel like you are an actor in some movies. It is bit pricey . But every penny is worth it. The clothing and style absolutely awesome. If you want to feel your real self please visit this place in Auckland.

John tailored a wonderful satorial coat and I could not be happier with the end product. He was friendly and informative throughout the process, and the result is better than I could have imagined. This is the place to go for friendly and professional staff, high quality clothing and impressive expertise.

Went to Crane Brothers to get my wedding suit. Was absolutely blown away by the exceptional high standards and knowledge about every aspect of the suit. Chris was amazing to work with and made me feel confident and at ease, giving excellent advice and guidance in creating my perfect suit. Crane Brothers made this a truely special experience which I will never forget and have crafted a perfect garment for my wedding. Will be looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Popped into Crane Brothers early this year to scope out a blazer for a wedding. I've never owned a blazer before, let alone anything 'bespoke'. I couldn't be happier with the advice, service and care I received. Fast forward 6 months and I own two bespoke blazers, a few shirts and a couple of pairs of trousers! 100% Recommend these guys, wether you're a first timer or looking to add to your existing collection. Of course it's not cheap, but considering what you're getting, I'd say it's great value for money! Can't imagine it get's much better than Crane Brothers.

The place to shop for good looking and fitting work wear to smart casual clothing. There always seems to be new stock to look at so great to pop in and see what's new. I find Murray and the team are very focused on providing great service and quality products either off the rack or made to measure. I think the service is where this place really provides the value. Nothing is a problem and I like that when shopping for these types of quality garments.

I had used Crane Brothers from some years, buying some custom trousers, formal shirts, corduroy trousers, ties etc., Prior to my current experience, I had been using other local tailors for my suiting needs (and London and Melbourne stores, when I traveled). John Mangham approached me in a follow up email, to see if I would be interested in trying the Crane Brothers MTM service. I accepted, and will never go anywhere else. From the outset, the whole experience has been bespoke, truly personal and very informative. John's knowledge of men's clothing goes beyond the enthusiast (that's me)! He is a true professional. John is honest, reliable, old-school in a way that just isn't found in the world, anymore. Murray Crane is ever present and welcoming, Robert is awesome. I went to Crane Brothers for my Wedding suit, Murray and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and able to provide invaluable advice on the different options available, from what would suit my particular body shape right through to the best materials for a summer wedding. The whole experience was incredibly memorable not only for me but my now wife, too. The process from start to finish was stress-free and professional, their attention to detail second-to-none. The resulting tuxedo was perfect, in terms of both quality and comfort. I felt like a million dollars on the day, it was everything I had imagined and more. I highly recommend Crane Brothers to any future grooms and anyone looking for a special suit in general.

Hands down the best experience i've had with a tailor in NZ and abroad! Being an avid gym rat for over half my life meant that my body shape is not standard. I recently had a terrible experience with another tailor. I stumbled across Crane Brothers in January as I needed to get a tuxedo made for my wedding in April. John Mangham, the sales manager, took care of me from day one and kept me updated throughout the journey. I tried the finished product yesterday and it almost brought a tear to my eye. Everything John recommended came together perfectly and the finished product fit me perfectly from the very first fitting! I highly recommend Crane Brothers to any perfectionist that strives to look like a million dollars when wearing a beautifully crafted suit. I couldn't thank you enough, John. I have worked with Crane Brothers over the last two years and have had nothing but excellent experiences, service and quality. I’ve work closely with John Mangham and his attention to detail is exceptional. John is great to work with, friendly and always thinks about the customer. He has helped me with multiple items including two MTM made in Italy suits which fit perfectly. I’ve also worked with Robert, Chris and Murray on items such as shoes/ties who again were all willing to help find the right fit/style. I would highly recommend Crane Brothers to anyone looking for a well crafted suit which comes with their exceptional and dependable service. I would also recommend you check out their wide ranging MTM collection which include jeans, shorts, overcoats amongst many others.

Without a doubt one of the best in the game! Service was excellence, these guys know what a suit is and what it should look like, if it won't look good they will tell you! Needed a suit done by 30th of November (in a 5 week time frame) and they said they'll get it done by then. I have 2 weeks to go, and the best suit I have ever owned is already sitting next to me, prepared 2 weeks earlier than expected! Absolutely stoked with the suit, best fitting suit I have ever owned, and the best looking suit I have ever owned. Timeless classic finishing touches, including waist band adjusters (I don't think you can't get that off the rack anywhere else in New Zealand!). Super happy! Thanks Crane Brothers ! Crane Bros provide a fantastic product and service. Construction of their suits and shirts is unsurpassed in nz and they have an extensive range of fabrics/options. Their Wellington store manager (Rob McIntyre) is great to deal with and i consider Rob more as a friend than just my tailor.

Is there any other way to buy a suit? Murray and the team at Crane Brothers provide an exceptional Made to Measure service. From the initial meeting to bringing the finished suit home, the entire process was thoughtful and personalised. Thanks for making my life a little more elegant!

"Buying tailor made suits is a bit like an addiction. Once you get one there is no going back!" This is pretty much the first thing that Murray Crane said to me and then he introduced me to his first class tailor John Mangham. Since the beginning of the year I have now purchased two suits that are incredibly comfortable. These guys really know their stuff and depending on how conservative or 'out there' you are, they have an accessory to match. During a wardrobe malfunction before a conference, the guys were able to swiftly find me a new, handmade white shirt with out fuss and 100% commitment and dedication. Crane Brothers comes highly recommended.

As you know he is a big man but he is working hard to shed weight. We’ll be back to see you in September as he should have attained his goal weight by then and a new wardrobe of clothes will be his reward. From the initial walk in to the final fitting the service was impeccable. Murray and the staff obviously take pride in their work and in offering a top notch customer experience. Every man, given the means and opportunity, should own a custom fitted suit, and the experience and the final product are certainly well worth it.

I like this store very much, as well as its staff Sandy. Its business philosophy and operation mode are unique in New Zealand，not only has the same quality as Zegna, but also has the most professional team of suit customization in New Zealand. I love walking down High Street and seeing the new changes that make this area shopping friendly. Easy parking too just ask their staff to help out before arriving. Crane Brothers pride of place is obvious...just keep an eye out for that beautiful brass window. Gorgeous place awesome team.

I thought the store was great and had lovely items for sale with a great bit of variety, which is great for holiday shopping and finding something New Zealand made. The reason for the four stars was a bit of a sales push by the sales agent. The tailoring was also nice and the value against the price was equal. (you get your $'s worth).

I appreciate Robert’s wonderful service. He gave me lots of useful advice and recommended a very good suit for my graduation. Highly recommend this shop

Outstanding business, so much more than a tailor. Murray, Robert and Chris have been an amazing over the 10 years I have been coming here.

Products are nice, high-end suits and good accessories. But it is an absolute no-go to make jokes about customers. Not very polite, a bit arrogant/conceited. Service has to be improved. What a pity!

Have to say, staff were friendly and helpful. They clearly know their product and the best suit for you. Have a chat and enjoy the shopping experience. You pay what you get.

Wow, these guys 🙌🏽 Outstanding quality, service and experience. We were after something traditional but different for our Waiheke wedding… Murray and his team designed and custom made a linen tux for my husband and linen suit for my dad.
