A dream tailor because we often don't know how best to fix problems, but she always does. And she does it so well! We are American and she is Asian/Kiwi so there is a bit of a language/cultural barrier (which may be the reason for a previous less-than-great review from a Kiwi). We bring her challenges and she always knows how best to fix them. Her work is top-notch, and I would recommend anyone with any sewing need of any kind head straight here. And yes, she does like "small jobs."

I’m not an easy guy to please in the clothing department. I have high standards and can be exacting. I spoke to Simon about having business shirts with certain detailing that I found hard to find elsewhere. I am very happy with the result. Also very happy with custom made jeans that I get asked about from others. I highly recommend this team, they are easy to deal with and professional.

Jacobs and Sons is exactly what Wynyard Quarter needs. Simon is an absolute professional, - so whether its a new garment from scratch, or adjustment to ready made garment, you know you are in trustworthy hands from the get go. So refreshing and wonderful to have a tailoring service like this in our neighborhood.

Great tailors, not just for superb alterations; they have an eye for detail and they also design and make outfits. They both listen and make their own suggestions which turn out better than your own ideas. I highly recommend this team, they are professional, modern and edgy.
