Great experience, extremely meticulous, and he stayed well past his ‘shop hours’ on a Saturday of a long weekend no less. Everyone needs to experience getting a custom suit at least once and this is the guy to get it done in Auckland.

Vinny helped alter a sport coat that was purchased online which needed the sleeve holes re-positioned/widened. He did an absolutely perfect job and it now fits like a glove! Magician.

Vinny is an exceptional tailor! I dropped off a stack of unwearable trousers to be hemmed and taken in. He took the time to get me to try them on one at a time and gave me good recommendations on trouser length (break vs no break etc). The stitching is of very high quality and all the trousers now fit me perfectly. It was certainly money well spent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone

I could not recommend Sabé enough. I took a winter coat in to get altered as it was far too big for me - too long and the shoulders were too wide (which most tailors wouldn’t touch). I originally chose Vinny as I had seen that he could craft his own handmade coats so I trusted his expertise. Vinny took care in altering the coat to my precise measurements and transformed it into a life-long piece of clothing that is made perfectly for me. I am over the moon with the result. He was quick, and very reasonably priced given that the coat needed some serious work. Furthermore, he was so kind and understanding. He explained in depth how to care for the coat in the future, gave me some dearly appreciated tips and tid bits, and went up and beyond to cater for me and made sure I was happy. He really cares about his customers and it shows. I was so comfortable and assured during the whole process - I am now a life-long customer. Thanks so much again Vinny, see you in the future.

I recently acquired a number of Hugo Boss suits for my business wardrobe, and brought these in to the SABÉ studio to have them tapered to a more modern fit. Vinny worked his magic, explaining the suggested alternations to achieve the desired end result. Having picked up the suits today, the finished garments are nothing short of exceptional. It is amazing to see the difference, and even more so to feel. Vinny is a master at his craft, and I will return to his studio for all my future tailoring needs.

I arrived on the 11th January to have two of my favourite dress shirts tailored for an important occasion. Vinny and his friend (Jun) helped sealed the deal by getting both garments PERFECTLY tailored to my exact expectations and body shape. The moment I put on the freshly-tailored dress shirts - it felt COMPLETELY different and tapered. In terms of the total cost, $120, and while it may seem steep to some and not to others, is there really a price that you can put on having your favourite pieces of clothing fit the way YOU want it to, especially if you're planning to wear it for as long as you possibly can? Service was excellent and professional as a fresh customer. There is no other tailor that I would recommend other than Vinny's.

I came to Vinny to get a suit altered after losing weight. He drafted the required changes as well as suggesting other alterations to modernise the cut. This whole experience was fantastic, you have Vinny's undivided attention as he works his magic; it is amazing to watch as the changes start to take shape in the mirror. Vinny has got to be the best tailor in Auckland. When I came to him knowing next to nothing about buying a suit, he helped me far more than I deserved. When I was unsure, he urged me to shop around, so that I was 100% confident with my purchase. His advice ended up saving me $80! He even gave me a big discount on some very last-minute alterations, just to be kind. Vinny told me that it's not about the money to him, and it completely shows. He's a kind and passionate expert. I'm telling you, he was good to me way more than I had any right to ask for. I honestly can't recommend him highly enough, and he'll be my go-to tailor for me, and anyone I can tell.
