Tereza created an original version of the design I was after and added some really nice design tweaks. We discussed size and placement and she was great to consult with. As this was my first tattoo, she explained the process and placement thoroughly and gave me time to make sure it was right. Tereza was quick and the finished tattoo looks amazing. I’ve had a series of tattoos done by the team at Blue Lagoon over the last couple of years (sorry mum) and they are amazing! They communicate well, they are reassuring and check in on you throughout the tattooing process especially if the area is a tender spot or it’s a long tattoo. The studio is tidy, it’s spacious the team is friendly and the artwork/jewellery they have on display to purchase is stunning. Best tattoo studio in Hawkes Bay! Blue Lagoon has such a wide range of artists, which is amazing to help you get what it is that you are looking for. The studio is so clean and beautiful. The staff are all super friendly and the atmosphere is like no other studio I have ever seen! It is such a vibrant and calming environment, with gorgeous plants and incredible art on the walls. I have been tattooed by amazing Vanylla and she is very professional. All of the artists are very talented, creating such high quality tattoos. The aftercare provided is some of the best quality products I have ever used! They are all natural, and so helpful during the healing process. The studio also has a wide selection of jewelry, posters, crystals and much more all from amazing artists from around the country. Go check it out!

Tereza gave me a colour tattoo last night, and it's so good! Great design, just what I wanted. She works methodically, taking her time and making sure each line is perfect... and and her shading is spot on. She's also really good with cleaning it up at the end, I've never had anyone (and I've been to many artists) who let it sit afterwards, and make sure that all the ink is removed from the entire area... I can feel the difference this morning, it's far less gunky than my others have been, and it barely hurts. The shop is awesome, too. A great space, and really clean. I absolutely recommend.
